This is one of the ugliest cars on British roads.

How anyone can buy a car that looks like this is totally beyond belief. It looks like it was designed by a 5 year old girl. The designers at Kia then took that girl's crayon drawing of a car and literally turned it into a real-life car - exactly like the drawing.

How can anyone take this car seriously? Let alone seriously enough to actually buy it?

Anyone who buys this car has no idea about looks or any taste in cars whatsoever. Idiots.

Well I have been driving a friends 1.6 diesel auto Soul Tempest for a week , I'm 6 ft 2 and it's great to drive , it is a bit jiggly on the road because of the 18inch alloys and low profile tires but you get used to it . Plenty of tec kit inside , however , regardless of what KIA may say the audio sound is not that good .... Overall it's a great little car with loads of room inside, it really stands out in the crowd and if you get the burner version you will stick out like a sore thumb lol

No HD radio? Seriously? MY CAR WON'T EVEN PLAY CDS. You wanna complain because it's not HD? It has an effin Serious radio...that's awesome. The radio looks awesome. OOOO...it's not surround sound. So I can't have movie night in it. Isn't 8 speakers enough? The speaker lights are amazingly cool. How can you not understand how cool that is? I would give my car for this one any day. While you were busy putting down half the car, you showed me everything cool about it. This review is just sad...

I would just like to say that I'd kill to have this car. Having said that...no navigation? Who nowadays doesn't have either cell phone navigation, or a gps. Ok yea, you have to by those things seperately, however, it would also make the car cost more. So either way you are paying for it...big deal if the car doesn't come with it. No display screen? Really? Yea it would be cool if it had one, but are you really that pampered that you have to complain about it?

and i got to say, it is pretty darned fun to drive. and it feels different and nicer than a vw. cuz vw's arent BAD necessarily, i just get a better and unique feel with the kia.

give them a test drive and see what u like better!

And the burner model is the only one that comes with red/black interior; it's standard for the Kia Soul Sport trim.

Great reviewer, make me laugh! I don't own one of these yet but I want to. Sat in a Soul Sport at the NYC autoshow not long after they came out and fell in love. One of the best interiors on an affordable car I've seen since the early 90s.

Crummy 1.6? Do you know the gamma 1.6 is timming chain and all alloy aluminum? It's one newer motors for kia, 2.0 is fine motor but timming belt do your homework before saying such things! Theta1. I only wanted the 1.6

@DJTEVAdotCOM ...well, it's not. The Scion seats are terrible on the back, the scion rides smoother, but the car has no cool options. The bluetooth sucks in comparison, and so does the basic radio. So.....in general the soul has more bang for the buck. Neither car is luxury. The scion also gets less mpg.

Google Kia Soul, click on the first link, go to features, and all of the models listed have a standard 2.0, which is where I got my info, but I can't argue if you have one. False advertising or stupidity on the part of Kia?!
