When one ponders the impossibilities of actually folding soup, dividing by 7 seems like child's play. REAL child's play, not the movie with chucky. Although this video was ALMOST as good. All you needed at the end was the closing line "I'll be your friend to the end.". Instead, you went with the babies line. Directorial priviledge I guess.
I should make all my SAT kids watch this. Or maybe I should take a moment during the divisibility rules lesson to pretend I'm a beleaguered housewife with seven kids. I bet that'd stick with 'em on test day.
I suppose that depends on your internet connection. takes me quite a while as I typically have 30 or so firefox windows open. This usually results in the whole thing freexing up at the very moving of the mouse, though I haven't the slightest idea WHY it does that....
Maybe you mean oxymoron? Depends if you like math or don't. Pleonasms are e.g. "add together", "LCD-Display" or "dead corpse". Oxymorons are "false proof", "open secret" or "exact estimate".
Do ya tink Im a freakn super computer? Just get a freakn calculator and I wont show you why Im more like a freakn super collider!... just kiddn ya, that was fun
Will we be hearing about Pollard Rho with Brent's modification, and more state of the art methods such as Quadratic Sieve in a follow-up lecture? You also might want to review elliptic curves before we get into that since, you know, some of us are bit rusty. :)
Though I recognize many of the words in this comment, I don't understand them to have meaning. I would like to meet this Quadratic Steve fellow. He sounds interesting.
I thought that having babies _was_ oppressive. Anyway, when you started, I immediately thought, "seven!" I never could remember it. I still can't, although you had my hopes up.
Here, I've got an idea. Suppose you agree that 'soup can't actually have babies, not having a womb, which is nobody's fault, not even the Romans', but that he can have the right to have babies.

You can also look for a 'number factor calculator' on google.
Algebra:
Factoring trinomials and solving word problems is unnecessary mindf***! And they claim it builds critical thinking- what a load of bull.

It's ALWAYS time for fun with math!

Brian, I've found a new way to waste your time. If you are reading this, HAH! You just wasted 30 seconds of your life.
your time will be further consumed by deleting the email that warned you of this. Yay! :)

"Seven sucks"... [hhhhh]. Very educative. "Math with Fun" is an example of pleonasm (or not?). By the way, great dramatization. [=)

I like having to look up words! Math and Fun are truly redundant, in my book. Thanks!

Wow, I'm impressed. I laughed, I learned, and then I laughed while learning that you can indeed have babies.
Absolutely great video, thanks for taking the time to do it!

My having babies is really more of a symbolic struggle against oppression.
