Death Note an anime I really liked. I hated the fact that L died.. He was my fav character.. And after that I just thought: Come on! Can't Light be caught? Yet at the end, I felt sympathy for him. He was so smart, but failed in the end. And also, even though he took so many lives, I felt bad for him. I don't think anyone deserves the thing he got when he died. being trapped between heaven and hell.

@crash4391 Well, the thing is with Light... It was kind of a shame, really. He was so smart and focused, he could have been something grand, but he lost his way so severely. I actually felt kind of sorry for him because he was so lost.

@crash4391 I converted a couple of Twilight fangirls over to Death Note. They both cried at Light's death, but not at L's, or at Captain Yagami's. They did everything they needed to, but Light fell short of everyone's expectations for him.

@DariusJones456 At least L and Captain Yagami died with glory hanging on their shoulders, going out in pursuit of justice. Light died alone and pathetic when he could have really been something great. He fell so far it actually was really sad.

Ah, Light's death. Though I hate the character, his death was definitely the most tragic of all. It proved that, of all the people killed by his and other characters' use of the notebook, he feared death the most. Ironic, too, that he was killed by the gentlest member in the group, Matsuda.

@flimmii07 Yes, but that's a shinigami's job, they write the names of the dead/dying. Doing so is like saying that Light bled out without having to actually say it. If Matsuda hadn't shot Light, chances are Ryuuk wouldn't have had to write his name down if he could have gotten away. i.e. it was predestined that Matsuda would shoot Light, and Ryuuk would record it.

Question! At the end when Misa get's out of the car and is on the road, it didn't show what happened...Did she commit suicide? Or she still alive? Because in the second movie she was still alive and just forgot Light...so I'm confuzzled....Great video though =]

Great AMV.... This is one of the best I've seen, and I've seen alot. I also don't give out compliments easily, but really, the mellow tone of the song paired with the violent clips was very profound. It really captured the dazed, desperate feel that Death Note has until the very last episode. Great job. :)
