This video assumes that atheists must believe in the "Law of Cause and Effect" - as if there really is such a thing. Of course, the atheist is portrayed as the one who is insulting to the other and witless. Any bias here?
By the way, you have also broken the rule of cause and effect. The double-Slit experiment also defies laws of physics, does it make a supernatural, or a physics we don't understand?
The universe could be constant though. expanding and collapsing, expanding and collapsing, repeatedly. This concept makes me uncomfortable, admittedly. But it is likely. Also Cause and effect isn't a law, It's just a term. Even I don't know the math regarding this, so asking a random atheist is not going to be proper, Speak to an astrophysicist.
You act as if the only argument against a god existing is the law of cause and effect. It surely isn't. Also, many laws over scientific history have been proven incorrect. And what did we do? Did we just give up and say "It has to be supernatural then."? No. We revised laws as we discover more information about nature and the universe, to better suit the law to what is true.
1 Something can not come from something. It's litterally impossible and who ever says it can is deluded .
2 You can't explain the Quran and it's miraculous nature, if you could. I would worship you. But you can't and never will be able to . So i'll worship Allah.
@MahyarAkbar I never once said something cannot come from something, nor was I even portraying that exaggerated theology. And the fact that I CAN'T explain things that happened in the Quran only adds to the notion that it shouldn't be fervently supported unless you CAN explain it without just saying it's Allah's doing. Also, I really appreciate when you put words in my mouth to further support your argument, it really shows your character.
XxXxhussamxXxX is apparently trying to say Islam doesn't promote polygamy - good luck with that one. It does, it's in the Quran, don't deny it. BTW, I've read the Quran ( in English translation of course).
Anyway, the video is total FAIL. it's filled with straw-man arguments and an appeal to the discredited Kalam Cosmological Argument. Funny how NONE of the "holy books" tell us anything about galaxies, germ theory, evolution, string theory, etc. They were written by primitive people.
Yes, Mr. Theist. You have successfully deduced that natural laws behave differently at the quantum level (which is why cause and effect doesn't seem to apply), and that the origin of the universe is something very difficult to understand and research because it cannot be replicated yet. So your ignorance of quantum mechanics and science's lack of definite answers on the origin of the means that god must have done it! I am impressed. Too bad the God argument still isn't satisfactory at all...
this video and its so called proof relies totally on a belief in the big bang THEORY ..from my (atheist) point of view i have not enough evidence to clearly state or support this theory.. thus this video is nonsense.. buhya!
This video fails on the first point. There is no law of cause and effect. Many things happen at random, in fact, most things in the universe happen at random.
The question is misleading. Big Bang theory don't claim they explain the causes of how the universe has started. Just because you cannot explain how it came about does not mean Supernatural won by default. Scientists admits they don't know yet, but arrogant theists thought they knew.
WOULD YOU SHUT THE HELL UP WITH BIG BANG? Damn, are you astrophysicists? You have no idea what Big Bang is, you have no idea of quantum mechanics, or even Einsteins matter/energy unification. YOU CAN"T USE SOMETHING YOU DON"T UNDERSTAND AS AN ARGUMENT. It just makes you look stupid, in eyes of those who do. BTW, Pope Joan Paul accepted the big bang.
funny how the atheist sounds like some kind of retard considering that the greatest minds in the world/history are atheist. Nice propaganda, well I'm off to beat my slave now.
Oh....so if I can't explain something..the easiest answer is that God must have done it...The big bang THEORY (it is a theory not a law) is too far fetched but an invisible God snaped his fingers and boom LIFE....that is just totally believable.
Also! Let's not forget that your pointing out flaws in ideas... yet you believe a man split a sea, and a man built a boat that held all creatures, and that we ate an apple off of a tree that screwed us all, and that the supreme being fucked a virgin to have a son that was doomed to death, only to come back to life as a zombie all to show us the true path... and then leave no proof other than a book... so hilarious how you try to sound intellegent though...
It's absolutely hilarious that you portray the atheist as the grumpy, defensive point of view in this argument. You all know that your the grumpy defensive ones, and that you will never accept people who don't follow your path. Get a fuckin life, an eternal one you fuckin idiots. And how dare you simple minded idiots try to stump the creation of everything by putting it off on atheists... you don't understand either, so you resort to your mythology. Big bang is weird?!??! so god exists!!!!
Sure the video discounts the reason there shouldn't be a god, the problem is it doesn't prove that there is a god. Even so lets say there is a god, and this god. Created the universe, its very very unlikely it is your believed god that created said universe. there has been lets say thousands of religions. lets dare say that anyone of these could be true. religion wether christian, muslim, hindu or budist is quite unlikely to be the right one on a planetary scale.
This video fails in so many levels. I have a problem with that "Mr. Atheist", I never judge people for their beliefs, and I do not call people morons and idiots. That is an stereotype, you are judging a group as a whole (maybe because many atheists have called you moron or idiot). And all the things about the big bang were just stupid. Look, dude, nobody really knows what caused the big bang, that is my answer. You have no idea that god exists cause there is no evidence.
Okay, the principal of cause and effect is restrained to the concept of time. In order for there to be a cause, there must be an event, which exists in time, and in order for there to be an effect, there must be another event, or series of events, which exist in time.
HOWEVER
There is no such thing as time. It is a human creation created to make sense of a hypercube, which is a 4 dimensional figure in which elements and matter reside in.
Prior to the big bang, there was no dimension, there was no space, no hypercube, only a singularity. In this strange environment, "time" does not exist, because there was no hyper cube or any dimensional sort of figure. Therefore, cause and effect don't apply, no cause, no effect.
This is far too strange for most people confined to human perception to comprehend, but there is an answer for that majority, GOD.
And of course, the idea of god logically fits, but is so illogical at the same time.
You can't prove god's existence, yet it makes sense for god to exist.
If one were to logically look at it, the universe can be explained without god. Occam's razor. Even though god is a simple explanation, it is inescapably far too complex, and illogical. The paradox presented in the idea of god.
@yu1and1 I don't think it makes sense for god to exist. Where did he come from? how did he create the universe? Where does he get his intelligence, omnipotence, omniscience and benevolence from? Why only one? I mean, it is highly improbable for a god to exist.
@JUANMO94 He meant it fits for others, those that cannot comprehend the "before" of the big bang, without falling onto a god. It's complex to them, so their simple answer is god. It is logical why they would think that. To someone that understands time not existing, it is logical to not need a god.
Just because we haven't figured it out yet doesn't mean we never will. Step back 50 years to how little we knew then compared to now. Maybe we will prove God, maybe we won't. If the precedents set by the past are anything to go by, we are far more likely to disprove Him.
you know athiest belive in nothing and say they dont belive in anything but isnt that beliving in somthing? you people really need to make up your mind and stop wasting your time battling with christians. so what if we belive in a God and you dont is your life really that pathetic that all you can do is fight with christians?
Ah you're funny. First you convert to islam and now you decided to take on the Atheist by mirroring other people's work. It's funny to see you use stuff from a guy who pulls his logic from his ass but I'll forgive you for being ignorant.
All the matter in the universe always has and always will be. Matter just changes forms over time. It doesnt take near as much imagination.
It's funny the way that christians have to keep reminding themselves that they believe. FAITH!!! Faith in something with no evidence is not an admirable trait at all.
I love this video, and I might use those arguments! But it's not the best argument, because then we get asked about Jesus, the Bible, Heaven etc. and that's where we don't really have an argument. But it's not about proof (apart from the fact God can not be disproved, because science can't explain where the Universe or life comes from, as this video states), it's about faith, hope, and belief. And even if there is no God, a lot of people are better in their ways, because of their belief in Him.
Haha I love this video, I might use those arguments. However they aren't great arguments because then people are questioned about the Bible, Jesus and Heaven, which is where us Christians become a bit stuck. It's not a case of proof, it's a case of belief, faith and hope. Even if there is no God, I think it has changed and improved a lot of lives, even saved lives, and made the world that little bit better.
Thats not the problem with Muslims....when we get asked about our religion....we can give overwhelming evidence to prove it is true.....its logical, rational, scientific, historical, prophetic evidence......by the way as ur a non-Muslim u must have all those misconceptions about Islam like Islam promotes terrorism and oppression of women...etc......well thats not true....you can come to my channel to learn more about Islam.
@XxXxhussamxXxX I didn't really say anything about Muslims... I do respect Islam, even though it doesn't align with my beliefs completely. It encourages good behaviour and a faith in God which is brilliant. And I understand why people are Muslims, if I was brought up in Muslim surroundings then I would probably be a Muslim as well! It's all about culture and what we are brought up to believe.
@XxXxhussamxXxX Can you explain the "misconceptions" about promoting oppression of women, terrorism, etc? Cause quite frankly, the Torah, Bible, and Qur’an all talk about raping a woman to make her your wife. Also about killing non-believers if they don't convert. The vast majority though ignore those passages. They follow peace. But, it's there. Mistranslations don't cover the actual practices in the Middle East. Genetics tests in Pakistan show incest widespread.
oh really? where does the Quran talk about "raping a woman to make her your wife?" I challenge you to show me such verse in the Quran cuz no where does the Quran say that....i know its in the Torah and Bible but not in Quran and Quran is far different from any other book.
having incest is the worst sin you can think off and your saying Muslims in Pakistan have incest?.....I live in Pakistan and i have so far not heard of any such case.
@XxXxhussamxXxX "If ye fear that ye shall not be able to deal justly with the orphans, Marry women of your choice, Two or three or four; but if ye fear that ye shall not be able to deal justly (with them), then only one, or (a captive) that your right hands possess, that will be more suitable, to prevent you from doing injustice," (4:3)
Take multiple wives, even a captive? Sounds like polygamy and raping slaves to me.
@XxXxhussamxXxX "Men are the protectors and maintainers of women, because Allah has given the one more (strength) than the other, and because they support them from their means. Therefore the righteous women are devoutly obedient, and guard in (the husband's) absence what Allah would have them guard.
"As to those women on whose part ye fear disloyalty and ill-conduct, admonish them (first), (Next), refuse to share their beds, (And last) beat them (lightly); but if they return to obedience, seek not against them Means (of annoyance): For Allah is Most High, great (above you all)," (4:34).
One part says, women can do the tasks of men as needed to help and survive but it's the man's duty to lead his family due to his strength. Makes sense. Both are "equal" of sorts both have roles to play, and can fill-in for the other as needed.
But the other part is the bad part, if the wife disagrees, the man can beat her. Nothing protects her from the husband, even if the husband is crazy. She is lost.
what?...lol... so many misconceptions....ill send u a video regarding wife beating in Islam in a message....there is no real wife beating in Islam and what is it youll know by watching that video......and if her husband is crazy...Islam gives the right to a woman that she herself can announce divorce.
@XxXxhussamxXxX I'm sorry, I'm not saying the Quran doesn't have Good meanings in it. I'm just saying it ALSO has the same similar quotes as the Torah and Bible about hurting others. The Quran has both good and evil.
As far as Pakistan, marrying the first cousin is popular, so genetics tests for the area shows inbreeding. Then, there is the under-reported rape of women by their family members. When asked why, they usually quote Quran passages about taking women.
Quran has no evil in it.....and marrying first cousin is not incest....incest is marrying your mother, father, brother, sister.
lol....they dun quote Quran passages....i know my country better than you...iam a Pakistani.....i have lived in Pakistan....none of these things happen.
@XxXxhussamxXxX hmm interesting video but regarding your possible answer #4 then it can be observed scientifically AND mathemaically... god has non of those... i will however say that you are right about the Quran not that i know a lot about it... the bible does however promote slaughter of nonbelievers, children, and just about every person who live in the rich parts of the world (Deuteronomy 17:12 NLT, Leviticus 20:9 NLT, Exodus 22:19 NAB, Deuteronomy 13:13-19 NLT) oh how i love those texts...
If a scripture claims to be the word of God than that scripture should have no contradictions in it. Or otherwise if it does have than it cant be from God because God doesn't make mistakes. So therefore since the Quran claims to be the verbatim word of God it doesn't have any contradictions in it. And this fact is also mentioned in the following verse of the Quran:
[4:82] "...and if it were from any other than Allah, they would have found in it many a contradictions"
@Davedude111 I do not judge people for their beliefs, I just came across you message and realized that something wasn't right. First, a false hope is bad, even if it gives you hope. And the world would be much better off if any religion had ever existed. I am just saying, I am not trying to start a discussion but if want me to give you my explanation of why the world'd be better without religion, just let me know!
you imply that everything came from nothing in the big bang Which isn't right It says that i all of the matter and the energy in the universe was combined into the size of a single atom A single atom no matter how small does in fact exist, therefore what caused the big bang was this single atom Besides if what you say is true then the big bang would break the law of conservation of mass one of the simplest concepts You think the people who came up with this theory would have overlooked that?
If there is a God, I wish he would appear and settle the argument. Maybe come from the sky with the bible version 2.0 or something along those lines. Lets face it, the current bible is a little outdated.
I have another good argument that has to do with how cosmologists argue in the existence of dark matter and dark energy to justify the big bang theory.
@germanicus24 This entire video is a straw man fallacy that ignores the atheist and agnostic point of view. By definition, all of us are atheists, since there is some proposed supernatural being or deity that we deny exists. So the true atheist/agnostic platform is why should we believe in one proposed God over others?
Personally, Im an agnostic, so I believe the answer to where we came from and who/what, if anything, created us is unknowable.
From *flat denial you may have come to *doubt*, from that perhaps to *faith.
Imagining is a sign of impotence when confronted with what you cannot be certain of.
Now tell me, have you ever been everywhere?
How strange it is that you have not been everywhere to know what lies everywhere, but nonetheless you deny what exists there. Would any wise man deny the reality of what he is ignorant of?
And you deny the existence of the Creator because you cannot see him with your eyes
So, in fact, you have doubts concerning the existence of God; you think He may exist and He may not exist?
So how do you know what is there?
Have you seen that the universe always existed and will always exist?
How come you have taken one side over the other. It is wiser for you to say 'I don't know,' and I will subject myself to further scrutiny, than to take a stand and say there's 'No God' because you have taken that stand and you have *no* evidence.
@EndthePain2010 Someone is changing the subject from theism versus atheism (the existence of the supernatural or not), to particular theist views within theism. What is changing the subject in logic? A red herring fallacy.
And I don't care that your comment is a year old. All should be criticized.
The God you are talking about is a intelligent being that with a purpose created the universe and us humans, plus all the animals and minerals here on earth. Not a subatomic particle, you have put some doubt in the theory of action and reaction.
I personally do not think "God" is the creator of the universe.
But i think that there is a supernatural being that exists that could be called god. But not a biblical god!
This video assumes that atheists must believe in the "Law of Cause and Effect" - as if there really is such a thing. Of course, the atheist is portrayed as the one who is insulting to the other and witless. Any bias here?

A christian would think that since there's no logical explaination, it must have been god who created the universe.
An atheist would stick with "I don't know" until the explaination is found.

Davedude111 1 year ago
@XxXxhussamxXxX Can you explain the "misconceptions" about promoting oppression of women, terrorism, etc? Cause quite frankly, the Torah, Bible, and Qur’an all talk about raping a woman to make her your wife. Also about killing non-believers if they don't convert. The vast majority though ignore those passages. They follow peace. But, it's there. Mistranslations don't cover the actual practices in the Middle East. Genetics tests in Pakistan show incest widespread.
wazwolf 1 year ago
@wazwolf
oh really? where does the Quran talk about "raping a woman to make her your wife?" I challenge you to show me such verse in the Quran cuz no where does the Quran say that....i know its in the Torah and Bible but not in Quran and Quran is far different from any other book.
having incest is the worst sin you can think off and your saying Muslims in Pakistan have incest?.....I live in Pakistan and i have so far not heard of any such case.

Sounds like polygamy and raping slaves to me.
wazwolf 1 year ago
@wazwolf
its not raping slaves....and as for polygamy...ill send u another video.

@XxXxhussamxXxX "Men are the protectors and maintainers of women, because Allah has given the one more (strength) than the other, and because they support them from their means. Therefore the righteous women are devoutly obedient, and guard in (the husband's) absence what Allah would have them guard.
wazwolf 1 year ago
"As to those women on whose part ye fear disloyalty and ill-conduct, admonish them (first), (Next), refuse to share their beds, (And last) beat them (lightly); but if they return to obedience, seek not against them Means (of annoyance): For Allah is Most High, great (above you all)," (4:34).
wazwolf 1 year ago
One part says, women can do the tasks of men as needed to help and survive but it's the man's duty to lead his family due to his strength. Makes sense. Both are "equal" of sorts both have roles to play, and can fill-in for the other as needed.
But the other part is the bad part, if the wife disagrees, the man can beat her. Nothing protects her from the husband, even if the husband is crazy. She is lost.
wazwolf 1 year ago
@wazwolf
what?...lol... so many misconceptions....ill send u a video regarding wife beating in Islam in a message....there is no real wife beating in Islam and what is it youll know by watching that video......and if her husband is crazy...Islam gives the right to a woman that she herself can announce divorce.
XxXxhussamxXxX 1 year ago
@wazwolf
(Cont)......and u say "Quran talks about killing non-believers if they don't convert."
really?.....lets see what does the Quran say:
"let there be no compulsion in religion." (2:256)
"are you going to compel men against there will to accept the truth" (chapter 10)
now u see?....thats why i said "misconceptions.
XxXxhussamxXxX 1 year ago
@XxXxhussamxXxX I'm sorry, I'm not saying the Quran doesn't have Good meanings in it. I'm just saying it ALSO has the same similar quotes as the Torah and Bible about hurting others. The Quran has both good and evil.
As far as Pakistan, marrying the first cousin is popular, so genetics tests for the area shows inbreeding. Then, there is the under-reported rape of women by their family members. When asked why, they usually quote Quran passages about taking women.
wazwolf 1 year ago
@wazwolf
Quran has no evil in it.....and marrying first cousin is not incest....incest is marrying your mother, father, brother, sister.
lol....they dun quote Quran passages....i know my country better than you...iam a Pakistani.....i have lived in Pakistan....none of these things happen.
XxXxhussamxXxX 1 year ago
@XxXxhussamxXxX hmm interesting video but regarding your possible answer #4 then it can be observed scientifically AND mathemaically... god has non of those... i will however say that you are right about the Quran not that i know a lot about it... the bible does however promote slaughter of nonbelievers, children, and just about every person who live in the rich parts of the world (Deuteronomy 17:12 NLT, Leviticus 20:9 NLT, Exodus 22:19 NAB, Deuteronomy 13:13-19 NLT) oh how i love those texts...

@XxXxhussamxXxX I don't know... The Quran, along with the Torah and Bible, has a LOT of contradictions.
PearlsBeforeSwine101 1 year ago
@PearlsBeforeSwine101
XxXxhussamxXxX 1 year ago
@XxXxhussamxXxX God doesn't make mistakes? He created human beings!

@Davedude111 Oh, really? How about those wars caused by religion, huh?
Yeah I like how Crusades and actual terrorist attacks against US save a lot of lifes because of religion!
LoudGJ 1 year ago

MrShane2369 1 year ago
I have another good argument that has to do with how cosmologists argue in the existence of dark matter and dark energy to justify the big bang theory.
germanicus24 1 year ago
@germanicus24 This entire video is a straw man fallacy that ignores the atheist and agnostic point of view. By definition, all of us are atheists, since there is some proposed supernatural being or deity that we deny exists. So the true atheist/agnostic platform is why should we believe in one proposed God over others?
Personally, Im an agnostic, so I believe the answer to where we came from and who/what, if anything, created us is unknowable.
EndthePain2010 1 year ago 13
@EndthePain2010 who/what, if anything, created us is unknowable.
_____
Is your denial of God, then is, because, you have not felt Him with the senses given to us for knowing objects?
Have you ever ascended or visited this sky, which you behold with your eyes, or been in the depths of the earth?
Have you traversed the world, dived in every sea, and moved through the Universe?
1tabligh 2 months ago
To *presumptuously* deny the existence of an Omniscient, Omnipotent Creator, you must have been to all these places.
Well, How can you say that He is not in those places where neither you *nor* your *senses* have ever been?
Perhaps He may be living there. Perhaps a person of extraordinary intelligence may reside in one of those places.
May be you have admitted the *probability* of a creator, you will, I hope, be convinced to admit the certainty.
1tabligh 2 months ago
From *flat denial you may have come to *doubt*, from that perhaps to *faith.
Imagining is a sign of impotence when confronted with what you cannot be certain of.
Now tell me, have you ever been everywhere?
How strange it is that you have not been everywhere to know what lies everywhere, but nonetheless you deny what exists there. Would any wise man deny the reality of what he is ignorant of?
And you deny the existence of the Creator because you cannot see him with your eyes
1tabligh 2 months ago
So, in fact, you have doubts concerning the existence of God; you think He may exist and He may not exist?
So how do you know what is there?
Have you seen that the universe always existed and will always exist?
How come you have taken one side over the other. It is wiser for you to say 'I don't know,' and I will subject myself to further scrutiny, than to take a stand and say there's 'No God' because you have taken that stand and you have *no* evidence.
1tabligh 2 months ago
@EndthePain2010 Someone is changing the subject from theism versus atheism (the existence of the supernatural or not), to particular theist views within theism. What is changing the subject in logic? A red herring fallacy.
And I don't care that your comment is a year old. All should be criticized.

Extremly good vid :D :D :D
But the reasoning is a bit off :-S
The God you are talking about is a intelligent being that with a purpose created the universe and us humans, plus all the animals and minerals here on earth. Not a subatomic particle, you have put some doubt in the theory of action and reaction.
I personally do not think "God" is the creator of the universe.
But i think that there is a supernatural being that exists that could be called god. But not a biblical god!

Then again religion is a shitty ass substitute for the truth.
MrRogueSpear 1 year ago
@MrRogueSpear True, but some people need something other than the truth.
As an example; The mom of a friend of me got stomach cancer, my friend then actually started praying for her mom, for it to be removable/curable.
It is something that empowers people with hope that science cant give.

Who or or what caused god?
The big bang has nothing to do with atheism.
One can be an atheist and reject evolution or the big bang or even the whole of scientific knowledge.
Atheism is a rejection of theistic claims, nothing more.
No scientist I've ever met suggests that the big bang came from nothing.
We don't yet know what came before the big bang.
When you don't know something, it's better to admit you don't know than to make up an answer that pretends to explain it, like a god.
