On ne peut s'empêcher de penser à Maïa Plissetskaia, à qui ce ballet était destiné, et qui incarnait Carmen avec une autre conviction. Mais c'est joliment dansé néanmoins.

These dancers are amazing. I don't know if I've ever seen a ballerina jump so powerfully yet gracefully. She looks like she is flying...absolutely gorgeous!!! I agree the ribbons look funny, but I think it's an illusion, her tights are just too light for those dark shoes.
