ehhh, '98 was the hottest year, but that's due to the El Nino cycles. '07 was still pretty damn close, regardless to the existent La Nina cycle. considering how close those two were despise the southern oscilation is evidence in support of global warming

It is irrelevant whether or not Global Warming is real. Emissions from burning fossil fuels do significant damage to the LOCAL environment. This has been well tested and is experienced by all of us. My wife and I spend hundreds of dollars every month on asthma medication because all my wife's life the air has been too foul for her sensitive lungs. The Global warming scare does a disservice to true environmentalists who just want to breath clean air drink clean water and eat healthy food.
