I don't think it's good to directly apply lemon juice on your face as the ph level of the lemon is high. Perhaps using yogurt and two table spoons of lemon juice?

The word "brighter" and "lighter" have two different definitions... The video clearly says "brighter". Lemon allows your skin to glow, while treating scars that are darker than the skin. It is not used as some sort of bleaching treatment.

I would try that as well. I usually drink lemon water daily which helps to improve skin color. Also a healthy diet that's varied and low in oils and fats helps to lighten skin. Oily foods and fat make women look dark and dull, which I've seen with a lot of blk women.

If you don't like using lemons, use rice water. It sounds crazy, but its another remedy. Simply fill a bowl with organic rice, and fill it up with water-but not too much. at least an inch above the rice. Stir it and the water should be cloudy. Then pour it in a container to keep so you can use it as ur own facial toner. You may want to repeat this as many times as you want every few days because the water will get smelly like spoiled milk. XP

I am african american and I use creams and lemon to lighten certain areas of my skin to get an even BROWN skin tone not be lightskin or white.
