Its easier to make peoples head explode in mercenaries in general, its the same way in re4 and in re5. They make the enemies weaker in mercenaries cause your fighting so many of them with a time limit

Kill as many ganados as you can, rack up as many points as you can, in order to unlock the handcannon.

Try to shoot the wolverine or whatever it is in his back. He got the parasite in his back so it's easy to kill him that way.The easiest way to kill him is to throw grenade at him and he actually shows his back and shoot at him and that should do it. After when you've killed him you need to laugh at him in a loud voice and that's it.
