Thanks for posting. This was my favorite mix that we did for this tune. Don't quite remember how we came up with this one, but we were just looking to make a bouncy, bass heavy track. A year or two later when we were in London, we were told it influenced (at least to a small degree) a few UK garage producers. Made us feel good. :-)
That mix you did of Jack it up is one off my favourite house tunes - wicked job mate!! Did you sample a song for it? I would love to know what it was....? This tune is cool as well :)
@richardpayton1 for me this is one of the tracks that epitomises the deep underground house and garage sound in london around that time! definitely a classic; it still sounds fresh today and I am sure it always will!
mayena@grimegarage09isplop Most Jungle/Drum & Bass had no redeeming qualities about it. I have to admit there was some tracks I liked examples Shy Fx & UK Apache - Original Nuttah (1994), General Levy - Incredible (1994), Lloydie Crucial - Ribbon In The Sky (1994), Potential Bad Boy - Have No Fear (1994), Tom & Jerry - Maximum Style (1994).
top draw!!

@jamesvigar22 We sampled a jazzy song for the dub version, but I don't recall what it was. Doug found it on an old LP.

This was my antidote to Drum & Bass, in 1995, which personally I thought was just mindless noise

@mayena my brother and sister would have to agree with your comment...drum'n'base/jungle = nonsensense..
