WSBK back then broadcast nearly all Boston Bruins' home games, so it's possible the video feed from this telecast was from WSBK, with WFLD adding Lloyd Pettit's commentary.

Maybe WFLD broadcast a weekly Blackhawks' highlight show that aired on March 31, 1976.

WFLD Channel 32 was later the FOX Station for my hometown of South Bend, Indiana until the mid 1990s when our local ABC station, WSJV-TV channel 28, switched to FOX programming.

Was Bill Wirtz the owner by this time? And if so that would explain why it was a road game that was televised. For those of you outside of Chicago and dont know. When Dollar Bill was owner President and whatever else he called himself. Would NOT allow home games from Chicago Stadium later United Center to be televised. It wasnt till a few years ago when Bill died and Rocky Wirtz (Bill's namesake) took over the franchise that ALL games home and road were televised!
