Every bane show I've been to (~10) has been amazing. They are the best live band in hardcore. Seeing them play with Comeback Kid and Misery Signals was amazing. Also with Evergreen Terrace, with Champion (crazy show). So good.
All this shit sounds the same. It's unbelievable with the myriad of different Rock/Metal styles out there that people can listen to this simple-ass musical diarrhoea
@rintelman hahaha says the guy who listens to electronic music. listen man, i enjoy my fair share of different music and you could say this about any genre if you don't listen to it. Hardcore does not sound like radio Rock/Metal. It's just that your ignorant to it, that's all.
All my friends listen to is metal/death core. And theres a thousand bands out there that sound just the way they want them too. I have to admit I got into that scene for a while... But I just broke out some old Bane, The Hope Conspiracy, Champion, and Have Heart CD's. I think I'm going to have to go back to my roots!
This isn't officially a straight edge band. The vocalist, guitarist and bass player are. The drummer they have now isn't. And the shirt you saw him wearing was a Have Heart shirt, a band they have toured with and support. It says "Boston Straight Edge" on the back.
theyre like comeback kind they have a straight edge vibe apperance sound but down at the roots they do sing about it especially in the phrase "count me out" "Because I will be here tomorrow, and I will be here next
year, just like this X on the back of my hand, I'm not going nowhere."
I would kill to be at this show...
