Don't they both have that old voltage-control sync method (pre-midi)?
They were originally marketed as complimentary pieces - hence the similar design scheme.

Well, I dunno. How do you use that pre-midi? Thing is I bought a Roland groove box and I want to buy a second one and I am wondering how to sync them.

The grooveboxes are MIDI. A child could sync them.
