It's by The Used. Well it's more of an instrumental version. It's called The Bird and The Worm or something like that. But personally, I don't like the real version of it. Sounds better like this.
But that might be becuase I only listen to insturmental music at least for the most part. If you watn to listen to trailer music check out Two Steps from Hell.

Seriously- this has always bugged me. In every painting, every film, every whatnot-- she is portrayed as this white girl chained to a rock. It's almost as if no one ever bothered to take a look at Ethiopia. It's as wierd as making Perseus look Chinese or something. He's greek! Greek people aren't Chinese- and Ethiopian people are not by and large caucasian. Surely, with all the research that would have gone into making a film- someone could have looked this up??
Well, Greeks don't look like Liam Neeson or Sam Worthington either. In any case, the "Ethiopia" of Greek legend is near Jappa, in the Levant, not the Ethiopia of Africa. She probably would have looked similar to the other people from Iraq to Greece in the Bronze Age.
Andromeda is the princess of Ethiopia. So why is she always white? I mean... in the eighties, sure. We didn't really tax our brains about such things then. But why is she still white? I don't know too many white Ethiopians- do you?
I just don't get how directors can say "Oh yeah, I'd love to try to remake that." You're never gonna do better, so why try. The Dawn of the Dead remake is about the only remake that ever stuck with me, and it's only cause I saw it before the original (original still kicks its ass). This obviously means they just do it to generate revenue for a production company. It is with this reason why I never pay to see remakes, and you shouldn't either. Let's get some quality up in this bitch.
The part where perseus looks at medusa... and doesnt turn to stone? Fail. If they cant even get that part right then how horrible will the rest of the movie be?
And to clarify, Perseus wouldnt be looking at medusa, he had a mirror shield and causes her to see her reflection.
Original movie is one of the best movies of all time.
Probably way off the original mythology - will be a shame, because it had the potential to be a great film - if they'd remade it accurately. Didn't even see Kalibos, or Bubo. Ray Harryhausen is probably having a fit!

I liked the first movie - although it's been so long since I've seen it I can't remember exactly what massive stop-motion monsters were in it besides the Kraken.

Seriously- this has always bugged me. In every painting, every film, every whatnot-- she is portrayed as this white girl chained to a rock. It's almost as if no one ever bothered to take a look at Ethiopia. It's as wierd as making Perseus look Chinese or something. He's greek! Greek people aren't Chinese- and Ethiopian people are not by and large caucasian. Surely, with all the research that would have gone into making a film- someone could have looked this up??

Well, Greeks don't look like Liam Neeson or Sam Worthington either. In any case, the "Ethiopia" of Greek legend is near Jappa, in the Levant, not the Ethiopia of Africa. She probably would have looked similar to the other people from Iraq to Greece in the Bronze Age.

I just don't get how directors can say "Oh yeah, I'd love to try to remake that." You're never gonna do better, so why try. The Dawn of the Dead remake is about the only remake that ever stuck with me, and it's only cause I saw it before the original (original still kicks its ass). This obviously means they just do it to generate revenue for a production company. It is with this reason why I never pay to see remakes, and you shouldn't either. Let's get some quality up in this bitch.

The part where perseus looks at medusa... and doesnt turn to stone? Fail. If they cant even get that part right then how horrible will the rest of the movie be?
And to clarify, Perseus wouldnt be looking at medusa, he had a mirror shield and causes her to see her reflection.
Original movie is one of the best movies of all time.

Probably way off the original mythology - will be a shame, because it had the potential to be a great film - if they'd remade it accurately. Didn't even see Kalibos, or Bubo. Ray Harryhausen is probably having a fit!
