-2xAA

-2 gigs ram

- high graphics settings ( with a few taxing ones set to medium)

and i ran pretty smooth 35-50 fps =D

Considering a 9800gtx+ is the same as the GTX 250, so it should run this quite well.

I knew it was a good card but... I didn't know it could run up to (in your case) 51-100fps on FEAR 2. Thanks for answering my question though. Can't wait to build my new rig so I can finally get hte full potential out of my card.

I can run it perfectly on my 8800GT which is an old card.

Wow... Really? I played it on a 360 not too long ago and I saw how visually appealing this game was. I mean, it's one of the best looking 360 games out imo. With that being said, I didn't think my card could run it, nonetheless yours. But wow.

The console version dont have any AA and no AF and low texture resolutions. Unless a game is a bad port the pc version is always the best

no cobra...it won't run slower..even an Gtx280 has been tested on a PCI-Express which does not support 2.0 and it run as the same as A Pci-Exprees 2.0

It will run a little slower cause its not 2.0 but this game doesn't need a super computer so you'll be fine with that setup

9800GTX+ doesn't completely saturate a PCI-E 1.1 slot anyway. So having PCI-E 2.0 won't make any different. If it were a 9800GX2, thats a different story...

hows the card overall am thinking between this and the 4850 gold sample and the thing that's making me go towards the 9800 gtx+ is of course the kuda physics. Fear is awsome bougth on release the collectors and my god i love its even better than fear, ep and purses mandate :D

The 9800GTX+ is awesome it has physx and cuda and i run all the games at the highest settings, check out my crysis vids and you'll know how gd it really is :)

i have got 9800gtx+ as well, was thinking to get this game later in the afternoon. but may i know if you could really play it with max setting? anti-aliasing? all max? just want to confirm again as this game is not cheap.. haha...

I play the game at 1920x1080 all max at 4xAA even more if i want but there no need for more and 16xAF at 60¬100fps no prob but if you really wanna check it out i suggest you download the demo first

hehe i have that card too and a e8400 OC to 3.6, the max resolution of my monitor is 1280X1024 so i willp ut all on maximum at that resolution :)
