Does Joe NOT use the Crunch or Ultra channels anymore and only ther Satchurator for his distorted tones?

i can honestly say Joe's old tone is much better than what he has now, i bought the saturater and it was a total disappointment. i sent it right back. and why is joe using 2 octave pedals ? the octavio and the ultimat octave? both sucks. try an old dan armstrong green ringer Joe and see if it doesn't blow both pedals away.

since it's an analogue pedal not midi he'll have different settings.octave up and down? some is only sponsoring,like the satchurator. You don't think he uses a pedal for distortion when he has a signature amp?That would be saying that the pedal is better than the 3000$ amp:o)

I think in the back of the stage there's tc electronic and eventide for effects turned on and off by his tech (no midi controller on stage).

Satch doesn't use any midi controllers...he does all the switching and effects himself. He's said in a couple interviews he prefers the old style of having everything in front of him instead of having someone else do switching for him.

hey guitargod. thnax, I didn't know that. I still stand for the rest of my remarks though. (about him not needing a satchurator when he has his own signature amp. And that he needs different ocave pedals when he wants different settings) I don't get why someone marked my remark as "bad remark" since I said nothing bad about satch (being a fan) I simply tried to explain how he probably worked with his effects...

bro trust me he uses the satchurator joe is not the type ogf guy to come out with a pedal and not use it . the satchurator is very good better than the ds 1 by far.

Hi fostex! Well, I share your opinion that he is a nice guy, but sponsors have their claws into "our" boys. (like vai had his carvins in front of the stage(turned off), and the Bogners out of sight doing the work. Well, they have to eat, don't they? I definetly don't want to pretend to know all the answers. If you say he uses the satchurator, I'll believe you. That it's a better pedal than the DS1 is not even a question, Satch will only want his name linked to high end stuff. Hat tip 2U
