There is also a bad lag between the audio and the video which makes it look like he isnt playing and the trumpet is still going.

Ive played trumpet for 10 years and i have played two trumpets b4 and you can tell by the way the tone quality gets worse when he plays both trumpets at the same time that is him playing. If it was a CD the tone quality wouldnt get worse!
