Next to it, I don't think it's a waste of food, becouse it's not a sustainable option to send food or money to poor countries. We have to help them to develop their infrastructure to make their own food. Anyway, by the fell, those fruits and vegetables didn't become rotten or anything. So that was funny :-)

I take it you've never dropped food before, picked it up, and rinsed it off. If you don't, then I could see why you would think they're wasting food. However, you should try picking it up and rinsing it off. It could save you in the long run.
