@kinetiksilence You know, I looked up Propaghandi after reading this and was excited to hear some great new music for me! I agree that opinions are opinions and not facts, but sometimes opinions are so bad that you want to throw some in a fact category, because can't fathom the thought of others disagreeing with you. That is what I did with Propaghandi, and sureley, Tool is better than Propaghandi.

Im having an impossible time tuning my guitar to the drop B tuning required to play this song. I have an Ibanez with tune locks and when i try to loosen the E to a B, it seems like it just never gets there. It either gets too lose and sounds completely out of tune or stays a bit too tight to sound like a dropped B. Any suggestions. Ive tried like a dozen times already.

na u can totallly tell which is guitar tone is hiz an which is adam jones...jones has a deep distortion bt its nt quite as heavy as kinetiksilence hiz iz more of a metal tone and much more overdriven than adam jones

what im talking about is that i only heard the original sound! there was none to hear of your guitar for me at all, its like your guitar wasnt connected with a speaker at all.

Ok i gotcha! i will admit that it did take me like 8 takes to get this clip just right. And i did try to match the distortion exactly, Plus i know i didnt have the original song's volume low enough to clearly hear what i was playing.

I was going to upload the version without TOOL playing in the backround anyway because of some requests to do a compilation much like Matter311 and TOOLbassplayer did here on youtube.

if you listen closely, kinetik's tone is slightly more saturated on the low end than Adam Jones. Jones' has a drier tone
