Sony Vegas Black Screen Fix By VeLo iRadiicaLL

i did this 3 times now and it still hasnt worked. my format is wmv and i can see the clip thumbnail but the preview/render still is a black screen. Please reply if you know anything that can help, thanks

I use sony vegas 10, I have the black screen problem (audio is fine). I see that downgrading itunes and quickplayer helped a lot of people on youtube. To some people, including me, this doesn't help and we're still stuck with this black screen problem. Reply for any solutions would be appreciated, thanks.

@twinconnor4 What Format is your files and have you tried re-installing vegas?

@iRaadiicaLL I figured out what was wrong. My files were in .mpg/.mpeg. I decided to find the most common file that people use which is .wmv. So I searched on google for a .wmv converter and found one. Now I transferred all my old files that were in .mpg/.mpeg into .wmv and it works now.
