HI, how do i get the firmwares to look like a CUBE. Everytime i download them it comes out as a folder and thats about it. I want it to be a cube with .ipsw thingy. If i need to unzip how do i that and what is the best software.

when you put the 2.0.1 firmware on it, its going to restore it anyway. in itunes when you press update its going to backup the info on your ipod and its going to take forever, thats why i said restore first then up date so that the back up will be less than a min. or if you have open ssh you can drag file you want to save from your ipod to you comp

I was trying to jailbreak my ipod with Ziphone and i was wondering if you could help me. I was in the middle of it and it was taking way to long so I unplugged it and now it wont start. It says "ipod stack can't start! need configuration".. what can I do?

you have to restore it in itunes, put it in restore mode, by holding the pwr and home button until the apple icon comes up and release the pwr button but keep holding the home button until itunes recognizes your ipod.
