This man is AMAZING! You dont see very many American Karate-ka with this kind of balance of fundamentals and flash. Or such a powerful and unique kind of "Flavor" to his kata. Who is he again? Does anyone know what his lineage is?
I think this is Charles Bonet. He stared in "Death Promise" along with Speedy Leacock who is in the other clip. I have a clip in my videos from Death Promise. Same dudes and I know that was made in NYC in the mid-seventies. cool stuff.

Sensei Charles Bonét was the Bronx representative of the Shorin-ryu system, under 10th dan Grand Master, Eizo Shimabukuro of Okinawa.
