another thing, take a longer smaller diameter bolt (like the ones you used for the ignitor leads) and at the bottom of the barrel (near the combustion chamber), drill a hole all the way through both sides in the middle of the barrel tubing and put the smallest bolt possible all the way through, that way you have a "stop" for your potato. :D

Gas grill starter is cheaper and doesn't require batteries... A tazer? really? Way over kill.

Im liking the clear PVC, but as someone who has fired a few hundred potatoes I have to say you picked one of the worst ways to hold it and fire. Keep that clean out plug away from your body... If the threading wears out or you don't get it sealed well enough then expect the hot gasses or fire to come shooting out of the back.
