Love your video, i really like to try this B777. I tried to install it once but (as everybody) couldn't make work the cockpit gauges. I don't know how did you make that combination of panels. Would you please send me some info? can you please send me the link of this aircraft Thanks. Very Nice Landing
Hey, I know this is a Frequen asked question... but how do you get the FSX VC for the B777 to work? One time it did worked, but then everything is plain white...(for full screen) or black...
somebody said Direct 10X is on? where do i turn it off?
@hkgyyzhkg if u still need help with this let me know I can help you. and yes direct x 10 needs to be off. you can change this in the settings page for fsx.
YouTube doesn't let you post links here, but, if you go to AVSIM and search this exact phrase "wilco posky 777 merge", you will get two results. Download both files; they are the ones I used to merge the panels.
I'm not sure if the Wilco 777 has navigraph support because even I have it, I never flown it! I always use the Posky 777.
@elvispresleylover123 Thank you very much for your feedback and I'm real sorry it took me this long to respond. The plane is by Project Open Sky and the panel is a merger with Wilco 777 panel.
I do use a Logitech Freedom 2.4GHz wireless joystick. I recently bought Saitek yoke and rudder pedals but only got around to doing one test flight with them!
You're too kind! I'm far from a pro, you should check out fpx2gwak channel! He has the coolest MD-11 videos out there, he was what I consider a real pro :-)
I visit Riyadh occasionally for business. What do you do in Riyadh?!
Yes it does, not fully functional though. The fact that I own many payware FS models, I can tell you one thing though, the Posky 777 model is a great one to have :-)
It's nothing impressive! My computer sucks! Either that or I'm killing it with FSX and my work usage. If you watch some of my other videos, you'll see that I experience a horrible frame rate failures, its very frustrating! However, the specs are: Dell XPS M1710 laptop, Intel Core 2 Duo @ 2.33GHz, 2 GB RAM, NVidia GeForce 7950 GTX graphics card with 512MB RAM.
Sorry for my delayed response. The cockpit is a merger between Wilco's and Posky 777. If you have both models installed, you can download the same package I used which contains the merger instructions from AVSIM. Hope this helps :-)
Nice ILS pls how can i get this airplane on my fsx becos i hav some freeware planes including the 777 which i install but i can't find it on d aircraft list pls i need ur help?
Take it easy my friend, it's not that bad :-) I do have the Wilco 777 installed but never flown it, so I can't compare, but the Posky flies real nice and I never experienced stalling problems with it. It also does have a FMC, I do show it in my other 777 clip :-)
The panel is the default Posky 777 panel merged with Wilco 777 panel to use its gauges.
Basically you need the freeware Posky 777 from projectopensky[dot]com, the payware Wilco 777 and the merger file described in my response above. Unfortunately with AVSIM hacked you may wanna try FlightSim[dot]com.
Actually you don't wanna do that. You will use the Posky 777 panel folder and 32 bit VC BMP textures from Posky. You will then have to edit the panel cfg folder as per an instruction package which I listed in my previous response. I did this a long time ago with A LOT of trial and error, so I apologize that I couldn't remember all the components earlier.
Hey, I think Wilco's B777 is still better in the cockpit. POSKY's more better at the model. You can see at Wilco's Autopilot. The functions are very similar to the real 777. POSKY's autopilot is not like the real one. I find it very hard when climbing and descending because there is no VNAV. I need to control the climbs and descent by myself. Also, there is no Backcourse button on the autopilot in the 777. But anyway, POSKY's model is a lot more better.
If you have the Wilco 777, there is a package on AVSIM that explains how to merge the POSKY and Wilco cockpits. I'll send you the name of the zip file in a message. Let me know if you need any other help.
how did you merge? could u give me link?
