  • Sabine Schmitz the hell racing girl

  • Comment removed

  • I was ignoring you, i am a MAN!!-hahahaha Jeremy

  • why did he not a bmw 335d coupe. thats a fast car

  • Was this chassis built from scratch or did they pinch it from another car?

At work we see a lot of XF's being driven around and all the guys keeps saying it's a mondeo (or has a mondeo chassis) due the X-Type pinching a lot of it bits from the mondeo, but the XF got their chassis from this but I can't find where the S got it from.

  • all the racer wich left their lifes at the nürburgring... RIP xD

greatings from rainy berlin. my uncle was there with an golf 5 gti.

  • what is the music at 1:10 :)

  • LOL @ 3:38 Haha "For gods sakes women!" Lawls

  • she sounds like a darlek

  • Germany has always been pretty technologically insane. It's just the culture. Were this course in any other country you would have 10x the amount of accidents I bet.

  • @mtb416

  • I wonder how Jeremy, who is all about "speed" and "power!", felt when he was told by a woman "don't brake so much!"

  • what cunt takes his 3 year old daughter to a race track?

  • Germans take the family dog as was said by Sabine. Taking your family there is like taking them to grandma.

  • lol is granny a serial killer?

  • Mitsubishi Legnum VR4 at 2:38 =D

  • i wish that sabine schmitz teach me how to drive in the ring!!!!!

  • the guy who posted that time is a race driver who had nothing else to do but drive a GTR around the ring... so don't sweat it

  • I wish I was him hehehe

  • Do you guys think that playing Gran Turismo 5 on the nurburgring helps? Besides getting to know the track better of course, but i mean in terms of time. cuz, really, (not being cocky) besides the fact that hes got a diesel, 10 minutes is really slow on GT5... even with bad cars...O_O of course, i cant drive yet so...that makes a difference...

  • Ever since I got GT4 a few years I have wanted to go but never go round to it until someone told me they were going on a group trip. So, I went in July this year & had an absolute blast!!. As for the game helping I'd say an YES....BUT!!...only so much as you know the track layout. The HUGE difference is the rises & falls in the track which totally catch you out on your first 'real' lap. My advice is take it fairly easy to start with, knowing the track well gave me a big advantage on my friends.

  • As for time's,10 minutes is way easier on the game than the real track believe me!!. I thought I'd do it easily with my standard Ford Puma...WRONG!!!. My first lap took 11.52 ouch!!, no way I thought 10 minutes was possible. My second lap was a suprising 10.45. Third 10.19 so I thought I'd do it easily on my 4th but then the rains came dammit. To my suprise on my last lap I got 10.17 even though I took it fairly easy due to the conditions. My 10 minute lap will have to wait until 2010.

  • Lol ty for the info!

  • Ya we all know that just cuz u can do 10 minutes on a videogame u can do 10 minutes on one of the most dangerous tracks in the world in real life.

  • lol have you even played the game? Doesnt sound like it. Like our very articulated friend MrYippeekiay here knows what im talking about? Did you not hear him about it helping? what part of "YES" did you not understand?

  • Sadly it doesnt at all. I do both, and the game has nothing to do with reality other than knowing "next up is right hander". But dont rely on turn in points etc you will be dead on the 2nd corner... I'm probably top-10 globally in any car you give me on the game and I still cant do faster than 8:20 in my GT3 in reality...

  • Mind you I was quite proud when I did a lap in 10:49 in a rented Merc A Class Diesel this summer with 75hp.... that was squeezing it to the limit though, I even overtook some guys whoa....;o)

  • haha nice. but under 9 mins... like WTF thats crazy dude post it on youtube i mean its a good car too! but im assuming your just a petrol head living outside of germany, and so it would be inconvenient for ya. But seriously, at least knowing the lap well wont help at all? thats hard to imagine. im not saying that if i go there i will be able to score a 7:30 or something like that, but it would be better to know the lap rather not at all wouldnt it? Plus wat game are you playing? Dont tell forza3

  • Check my vids m8ey...like I said, it helps cos u'll know "next up is a right hander" but it'd be mortally dangerous for you to rely on braking points, turn-in points or apexes from any game. If u ever go (and you should!) much better to watch a good in-car vid of the car u intend to use on YouTube again & again. Or else take our lessons from Ron Simmons "RSRNuerburg" (google them) - much safer & cheaper than an accident. Now save up & do it, it's one of life's great adventures (+ addictions)

  • Jeremy did well there ! I took my s type jag 3 ltr petrol round, did not break 11 mins, god I was trying so hard !!

  • diesels don't work on racetracks?lol... well, they did on Le Mans for the past few years....xP

  • It's sort of true. Traditionally, diesel engines had a very narrow power band, so you get a massive slug of power in the mid-range, then nothing so you change gear, and then get no power again while the turbo spools up. Its not that they arent powerful; rather that they lack the responsiveness of petrol engines, which you need for track driving.

Obviously, though, diesel engines have improved massively - they now rev much more freely and have their power spread more evenly over the rev range.

  • i know..haha.

i just wanted to attack jeremy's comment just for the heck of it xD

    petrol ftw!

  • 4.53 thats me

  • 14 euro and you can drive around for as long as you want thats just amazing

  • each lap costs 14€!

  • Comment removed

  • It's now 22 Euro's per lap. I paid 75 Euro's for 4 laps in July which was fairly expensive given the value of the pound but to be perfectly honest...it was worth every single penny.

  • anyone taken a Bugatti Veyron round that track yet? lol would make a nice time even though its a heavy car I think -)

  • google: nurburgring lap times and wikipedia tells you a load of them. Veyron is suprisingly slow at 7:40

  • It's hard to push this 1million€ wonder around the Ring to the limit. There's no restart button like in NFS Shift.

  • F*cki*g ignorant

  • What is the of this song @ 0:24 ?

  • LOL @ 4:03

  • how the hell do you do an average 78 mph?!?!!?!?!

  • Well mathematically you'd have to be driving a minimum of 78. In general, as you drive past the corners you shouldn't use full power, more so half, and don't break as much because you risk locking up. Brake to aim, half power, then push full power. Try to avoid drifting, but if you have to do so but as quickly as possible, much like what they do in the RingTaxi.

  • This track is all about not having fear. Majority of the corners are high speed and this is ironically the only track I have ever driven on where you don't need to do much braking at all. It's also hard to get a good time while people are on the track.

  • Alex Roy drove across the US with an average of like 90 including stops ,, so its very possible

  • on about the 4th minute the alfa 75 takes over the jag after the porsche. the alfa is keeping quite good vs the porsche

  • does any one here thinks that the new facelift on Jaquar isnt the same old Jaquar anymore? i mean if u take a look at bmw even with the new facelift u can still pick up some old traits but the new Jaquar has lost its soul for somehow.. is it just me ?

  • yeah I've seen quite a few in Chicago and they remind me of Aston Martins

  • i agree. their cars dont like jags anymore

  • 2:40 - 2:41 Alfa Romeo 75...very dangerous car!

  • I'm so going their one day...

  • wats the song @ 5:07

  • Craig Armstrong - Ball

  • song at 1:14 ?

  • In case anyone is interested, the song at 6:55 is Björk - Human Behaviour.

  • Thank you very much, I've been looking for that one for a while now :)

  • Man i missed this show a full year and i forgot about how good it was, i love these guys man.

  • LOL...

The british aston martin track car can do it in 7:13!

  • Aston Martin is not American. The majority of Aston Martin is owned by a group of investors led by David Richards from Prodrive (Oxfordshire, England). This group also includes Investment Dar and Adeem Investment Co from Kuwait. Ford owns 8.4% of Aston Martin.

  • That'd be awesome to take my car around that track. I wouldn't do as well (maybe) as the Jag but it sure would be fun! Probably be the only Aurora to ever go on the track, maybe even the only Oldsmobile at that.

  • A chick whos hot and can drive the Nurburgring? I can deal with the arrogance, shes a keeper !!

  • she looks good doesnt she!?

  • yeah but acts weired..

  • The nurburgring is awsome, i got a chance to go round in a few times on an open track day, it was a great day, really sunny too. I enjoyed looking at all the drawings on the road too. Amazing.

  • what is the name of song at 5.05 min?? please ...

  • Craig Armstrong - Ball

  • Craig Armstrong - The Ball.

    Please read other comments !

  • i wish i could drive there when i feel like it

  • yea I wish that America had one of these

  • haha, the guys laugh at the end: priceless

  • I love the introduction to the Nurburgring.. lol.. it really sums it up.

  • wats the music at 24 seconds anyone please???

  • what is the music that starts at 5:05?

    can someone tell me?

  • This track is: Craig Armstrong - The Ball. It is from the film "Plunkett & Mclaine"

  • sabine is HOT! ermm i rememba watchig this on bbc2

  • Sorry, but regular users estimate the death toll at between 3 and 12 per year. If it were 1 per week, then it would be 200 people every 4 years, not 200 in its roughly 70 year history.

  • Jeremy should have driven this course in Grand Prix Legends. I drove that track alot, and now Im not afraid to take it in a Toyota Celica.

  • r10 diesel is awesome. diesel power tdi

  • rip to the 200 valiant souls

  • You love diesels? Dirty, dirty man.

  • 147 turns. pikes peak has 156

  • But pikes peak is a hillclimb, not a racetrack

  • i fucking love diesels. torque is unreal from a tuned diesel

  • whats the song at 5:15

  • Ball by Craig Armstrong from the sound track to Plunkett & Macleane

  • sabine schmitz is why i love german chicks and german stuff. wow

  • she got fat and arrogant tho

  • Comment removed

  • I need to save some money to buy this track and ride my bycicle there all day. lol!

  • good luck with that

  • L.O.L.!

  • Omg, Jeremy's excuses xD

  • 1000 laps a year? omg, that's 27 laps per day if you take on average 10 minutes per lap (Which it usually does)

  • Idiot.

With 365 days a year, it's under 3 laps a day. What calendar are you using? And what has the lap time to do with it?

  • i cant believe how thick some people are

  • She's so rude! But who cares...she's soooo damn cute!!!!!!!

  • shes german. shes not rude. germans have a reputation of being bruttally blunt. so its easy to know where your mistakes are. just dont let that blunt honesty deter u tho its just the way they r. u can learn a lot more from them that way.

  • RIIIGHT...she's German....NOT rude. Gee I've NEVER heard of a rude German tourist before...I guess they are just being brutally blunt. PFFFFFTTTTTT.

    FYI brutally blunt = rude.

  • hey srry im not german so i cant make it blunt lol.

  • HAHAHAHAA!!! Cheers!

  • nice

  • i got goosebumbs in the beginning where you see the the ring from the sky :)

  • as did I. a couple of yrs ago my dad worked at the track and i spent every weekend up there. its the greatest place in the world if u love cars/race tracks

  • it is, its like holy ground for me, ive been there a couple of times and drove on it once with my old vw beetle (and broke it)

  • diesel don't work on race tracks, look at the Audi R10 and the Peugeot 908

  • welp i dunno about le mans but in btcc and wtcc diesels are given a healthy advantage over petrols to allow them to compete. 2litre n/a vs 2l with turbo for example.

  • le mans restricts diesels, smaller air and oil filters for example, nut they still dominate. Audi and Peugeot diesels came first, second, and third in the 2008 24hr of LeMans.

  • ok but still they have more power than the petrol cars, atleast in btcc. I watched the race at snetterton a couple of days ago and the diesels were fastest on the straights; until they broke down anyway :D

  • the audi r8 diesel won lemans a couple of times....

  • R10. The R8 was the V8 petrol powered one.

  • an audi developed racing engine is a bit different than a mass produced diesel motor

  • true, but it's still a diesel engine no matter how it's made or developed.

  • I bet he shaged her.

  • Who wouldn't?

  • Well, I would. There is something about him. He just needs to lose a bit of his beely. What the hell, I would sleep with him anyway!

  • the guy at 1:42 must blow 14000 euros a year doing this

  • The Guy at 1:42 is an instructor... Try a search `Brendan Nurburgring' & enjoy!!! He cooks a nice breakfast & offers sound advise! & gets paid for doing what he loves!

  • I wish I had his job....

  • You can get a yearly or half-yearly unlimited pass I believe.

  • Actually, you can buy annual passes with unlimited laps for 895 euros.

  • Sabine = Stig-ette

  • they should have a kid

    call him stiggey

  • What's the song called when he crosses the line under ten minutes? In the jag.

  • escape - craig armstrong

  • is there a chance thar you know the song at 5:07, cool techno simfony?

  • Sabine is soooooo cute!!! I love her!!!

  • I love this challenge, he gets so hyped about it!

And FYI, It's Clarkson, not Clarcson.

  • The nurburgring is very scary in real life, the concrete wall are a half a inch away (or atleast so it feels. Make one mistake and you will crash through heaven gates backward with your hair on fire

  • well, he was driving a slow ass car too

  • and that car can go faster than you bigfatgito

  • lol... wow, why so mad? haha! i have an R32 Skyline GT-R.. I do like Ferarris and BMWs too.. just can't afford them. Congrats on owning that car though!!

  • Jeremy is a good driver, but his luck isn't, but what about those accidents. Dun dun dun.
