Do you know the weight on this cymbal by chance? I would love to have one that sounds exactly like this. Haha I wish I'd seen this in time to have gotten the cymbal.
I've used Bliss in rock/heavy playing before, and they perform admirably well. They will be limited in sheer volume because they are thin, low pitched, warm, dark cymbals, but if that's what you're looking for then that's what you'll get. If you need something heavier, then the Dream Energy series were designed to have the warmth and musicality but at rock-band volumes. However, if you're after harsh, bright, really defined, really heavy, penetrating cymbals, you'll need to look elsewhere!
Is this good for riding on or would you say it's too washy?

YES! these cymbals are inexpensive but not cheap! they sound like old zilds....love it! getting mine on eBay :)
