My mom used to read this to me almost every night when I was little. Until I was about 10, I would actually go find this book and make her read it to me. I came across a quote from this book today written on a bakery chalkboard, and I told my mom that I'm coming over and making her read it to me. Haha. I'm 21 years old and I still love this book. I can't wait until I can read it to my children. <3
This was the book my Grandma read to me when I was a baby, I cry everytime I always change the ending know to, "I'll love you forever I'll like you for always as long as I'mliving my grandma you'll be"
Does no one see anything wrong with the women sneaking into her sons house to rock him like a baby? Some parts of this book is sad but it's also creepy.
My mom would read this to me all the time... We shared great times with this book and she told me of her love to me. She died when I was ten. I was devastated. When I am down and miss my mom I think of this book and our happy times with each other. I cry every time...
The part with the teenajer always gets me cuz it reminds me of my mommy and i. Im 16 and cry whenever i hear/ read this. I wanna buy it and give it to my mommy one day...
I just remembered this story out of nowhere, i wasnt even positive on the title, but i found it, funny that it would stay in my subconscious 5 yr old memories when nothing else has. when i was in kindergarden i got this book, and my teacher read it to the class for story time, and she cried her eyes out while she read it. looking back, i didnt get it, but hearing it again now its so so sweet, and now i tear up hearing it. lovely story
@deppfan85 its not creepy...Parents are going to be our parents until the day we dies and more...they will always consider us their babies and treat us like that...they will be with us no matter what...they are what we are going to have forever...and will never betray us...
When I was a little girl my dad would always read this book to me. If I ever have kids I'll read this book to them and hope I dont cry by the ending like I always do.
im 16 and i remember my mom reading this to me as a bedtime story when i was little, i love her :')
