We have 2 of these toilets, but one of them needed new insides, and I think there is something wrong with the other one, whenever we flush it it almost makes like a screaming sound, I don't know if there's too much pressure or if something is wrong or not.
I saw that same toilet at a Dunkin Donuts before and it had the same bucket around the flapper. Itz dated 1996! Thatz a very awesome shower stall and I love those vintage handles.
Yeah that building I think was built in the 1940s or 50s, it even has hardwood floors under the carpet. My brother lived in a different apartment in the same building and the shower had the original "Standard" bell shaped showerhead it was awesome! I took it and it's in the shower at the apartment over my moms store.
My neighbors used to have 2 1996 Eljer Savoys, which they replaced a couple months ago, and they had the water saving dams in the tank. I looked in the tanks, and they had broken the dams so that the whole tank would flush. I'm sure that even then the flush wasn't all that great, which is why they were replaced with the new Crane Toilet to Go with the round trap.
What I was talking about, with a typical flush valve the flapper sits on it at the bottom of the tank and gerber used what they refer to as a pedestal flush valve and the flapper on that sits about 2" from the bottom of the tank and with that you just use a typical flapper instead of the 1.6 flapper.
Some people refer to that as a ice cream pale, instead of an early closing flapper this pale is what keeps the toilet from flushing the whole tank and more than 1.6 gallons, Gerber and Eljer used these in the 90s.
what is the point of this video? why does it exist?

@ToonTV95 Oh I know the sound you mean. No its not pressure . The problem is that the fill valve is failing .
bakedpotato1678 1 year ago
Well it seems to fill okay, but since I don't know what's wrong with it I'll take your word for it, I'll see if we can buy new insides.

For surely not, I had to use it and it clogged instantly. All the ones I've used that are just like this model flush just as terribly.
