Bass from JJB here is showing his versatility. Normally he's blasting out this gutteral Fender Precision punch but in this he's proving a more subtle presence but still commanding his signature sound in a backround way. One of my all-time favourite bands there!

May I recommend the book 'A Concise Guide To Eighties Music' by Karl Vorderman. The author is a big fan of this track.

i had not ever HEARD of The STRANGLERS but after a couple of listens, i was able 2 wrap myself around it.
Photos are awesome, and i will be listening to The Stranglers version again.
