Freezing food storage Grains-will it work

Bob: Hi. I think the idea of freezing grains is as a pre-treatment. I have 1500 pounds of wheat that I dragged outside when the temp was under 0 degree F. and left it there for 3 days. At that time, before 1991, that was my only option. I was under the impression that it would prevent the bugs from ever hatching in your grains. I am not relying on that grain now, I have other foods but decided to keep it until I am able to afford to get replace it all.

I don't make the size/time limits you tube does. We at PAW also take the time to explain why and what we are doing so everyone can understand what we are showing. If PAW just went tossing some rice in a freezer and then going "yip dead...THE END" makes for a lot of open unanswered questions. We are here to motivate and teach folks from our experiences , not copy past old info or someone else's movies. So thank you for addressing the 2 part issue!
