  • How about a little smile dude?

  • Easy if it over heats put it over ice racks

  • I thought the fan shouldn't rotate?

  • @TheJenojen

Technically yes... It can create a static shock or whatever. But it's like saying you can get serious complications from regular flu, I mean, sure, you can, but what are the chances of that happening?

  • i dont have that iss lol my laptop keep going to start windows normally what shoul i do

  • Bio: Nathan Morgan is the founder and CEO of Parts-People.

HINT: DO NOT BUY ANYTHING OR TAKE ANY ADVICE FROM THIS COMPANY! Clearly the guy is a joker O.O

He's right about cleaning it on a monthly basis, but that's just about it. The rest of his words are complete bullshit, and a shortcut to destroying your laptop. So unless you have a shitload of money to buy new laptops every six months or so, do not follow this dudes advice...

  • lol are you kidding me? blowing the dust further into your laptop is NOT something I would recommend doing. Dust have a habit of finding it's dusty friends and come together for a big dust party, and this is just one big heat collector. You want to learn how to open up your laptop, and clean the fans individually, removing the dust entirely from the inside of the laptop!

    This is ridicolous...

  • BOO! SUCKY VIDEO

  • i will test ^_^

  • great.. simple concept and useful job

  • OH MY GOD! It's Justin Bieber in 20 years!!!

  • @akaHermanSnerd ... not funny if u think it is .....

  • @RevoXSurf

Ummm. Nope. It's still funny. I checked.

  • @akaHermanSnerd sorry i didnt laugh.

  • @RevoXSurf

Well I guess then you can hold your Justin Bieber pillow close and tell him how you defended his honor on YouTube, told me off letting me know in no uncertain terms that I'm not funny and that everything is going to be OK now and you're still his #1 fan.

Justin Bieber is a helmet-haired goof. Nyaaa Nyaaa.

  • My fan has stopped working in the back of my laptop.

I over used it and it shut down from overheating,

I turned it back on instantly and i think i blown a fuse.

Can this be fixed manually, or will I have to take it in to a proffessional?

  • thanks men

  • Comment removed

  • Wrong information for cleaning a laptop.

  • BLOW IN THE BACK??

  • just use a vacuum cleaner on the fan its way better and easier

  • Won't blowing the air into the laptop fan keep the dust inside the laptop?

  • just put your laptop outside in a windy day.

  • @2012sputnik lolz nice

  • @True2TheBlueYoViGang wow mr.techgeek...man your lame by starting on saying oh windows this and that...oh linux oh msconfig...all you need to fix the job is getting a hammer and smake-it till it's clean...

  • One good thing know to know when you are cleaning your laptop fan with compressed air. somehow keep the fan stady. dont let it spin freely as with compressed air, the air can force the fan to fast causing the fan to be damaged. If there is a guard where the fan is, place something like a paperclip between the guard and fan blades to do so.

  • Okay, I don't have much experience in this process, nor do I got pancake mix, but it would seem to me that without taking the laptop apart blowing the air IN to the vents from outside means that one just pushes the dust in even further.

I'd like a reply on whether or not the above stated is correct. Thank you. :)

  • Yyou should never blow compressed air directly onto the free spinning fan, you can destroy the fan.

  • thk for the info. by the way, what can of liquid did you use in this video? th one with the straw?

  • I hate dust

  • Hey, I just opened my laptop for the first time to clean the fan and heat sink, and I see a peace of tape across from the fan and the wires. Will that be an issue? o.0

  • think i also will give mine a blow job

  • @mufferrful lol :D

  • sweet we have the same laptop this should be a peice of cake

  • Hi there. Is it true that I have to replace my entire motherboard for my vaio sony laptop if my cooling fan is making noise? I was told by someone at a private small computer shop that I would have to replace the entire motherboard or either by a fan and solder it back. Not sure if he's telling me the truth or not.

  • Wow my f fan won't move someone pls help it dosentake sound alright pls pls help !

  • @Twodiomend yeah mine too doesnt spin,so it overheats and shuts down often

  • looool

  • this guy is serious business...

  • My hp dv 6000 won't power up, when I conect the ac adopter it shows the blue light but it won't power up. When I use another battery that it's charged up it comes on just fine but it won't recharge the battery. Can you please help me. Thank you

  • how much does it cost to get a fan replacement?

  • Around 15-20 dollars, for the cheap ones. And for expensive ones around 50 - 60$

  • Something might be toutching the fanblades, or there might a problem with your harddrive.

  • My laptop has black foam stuck inside the vent and nothing is small enough to reach in and pull it out it seems to be stuck pretty good and my laptop keeps shutting off and getting really hot.

  • Boy, it's much easier to clean a laptop than a pc :D

  • wtf lol pcs are way easier u just take the tray off and u have accese to all of the stuff inside....

  • But all those wires makes it to be a harder job

  • Instead of doing this crap, unscrew the big 'hatch' on the bottom of your laptop, unscrew the fan, and blow the radiator clean. And with blow i mean Blow, with a directional stream of air right trough the radiator from outside to inside. Doing this once every two years or something is way enough.

What the guy in the video is doing is called stroking your laptop.

  • What is that spary thingy called?

  • @masketkiller101 Can of compressed air

  • my laptop makes this crazy sound... i

think it's full of dust in there, but curiously enough it doesn't heat...it gets a little warmer if I let it on for several hours but it never turns off because of too much heat...but I just can't leave w/ that horrific sound anymore!!!!

  • ty, my comp ever heats now a days every 20 minutes or so if im using a big program like a video game or running my Ubuntu drive. I've been thinking about actually opening up my laptop and putting in tubing to run cold water through to help cool it down along with the fan, good idea or bad idea?

  • thanks alot.. ^^

  • cant you use Hoover to clean the cooler ?

  • Thanks for the vid

  • My laptop gets overheat for no reason, i already bought a cooling pad but still sometime is burning the only thing that you can't see is the fire, and can you tell me please where can i buy that air can?

  • you can get any air compressed can at staples or office max, really any hardware store around. if anyone needs anymore clarification check out my video. great vid by the way

  • Confuse :(

  • go to any store that sells office supplies (pens pencils, printer ink...) and ask for a can of keyboard spray

  • Thanks !

  • YOU SWITCHED THE LAPTOP!!

  • my laptops fan is constantly running really annoying!

  • hw do u get the fan out?

  • you should make a video like how to get better air flow without a laptop cooler or using something to blow it out because i try all that and it still hot.
