I personally think they should have actually done a series with this lot then something happened and the staff were rehired and then it returned to normal. I think a series of this lot would have made it a hell lot better than it is already (which seemed impossible as it was amazing) shame they axed Hotel Babylon :/

'event' television, when the whole family (along with over 15 million other people) sat round the box and watched sitcoms, doesn't really happen anymore so today's generation (anybody who grew up in the 90s) don't really understand or appreciate sketches like this I guess. hmm i loved sybil fawlty in the original series.

thing is ... she was always supposed to be really lazy, and didnt contribute at all to the running of the hotel. that isnt really what's happening here, so it's not really sybil fawlty in a manner of speaking.

anyway ... i hope it raised some money.

Brave for Babylon cast + all the classic characters. Thought it was fab.
