@lloydrz26 yeah it looks like an English Budgie, which is basically a larger Parakeet bred for shows. There's a bit more feathers surrounded the crown, and larger in general appearance. But besides that..the English "budgie", and the American "Parakeet" are basically the same bird..all in the parrot family

all you parakeet lovers out there. If you want a parakeet to talk buy a bird with a blue cere(thats above the beak) That means it"s a boy. If it;s white that means it's a girl and they don't talk very much (that is in bird species) And only have a solitary bird.. Then they try to mimic you....

Parrots talk and no one says they can and the parakeet is part of the parrot family.... Not all parakeets can talk my aunt has two one can talk an one can't.. I had my bird more than a year and she's really been scared of hands in the cage due to the horrible loss of her beloved friends and because my parents realesed my parakeets...back then she was so cheerful.I had 4 parakeets and have no idea where they went and I only have one left.One was white,and the other two that are also lost in the world are green...I sure miss them. :( The one I have now is blue.
