  • very amusing. i've heard gorillas laughing as well.

  • I am so proud to be a primate!! We primates are awesome animals!!! <3

  • video 1 comments 0

  • lol! adorable!

  • @Turdbuckethat -- only chimps in captivity do that. They never do that in the wild. We did that to them by putting them in zoos.

  • @ritroo I'm a primate too, so does that mean if I were in captivity (say prison) I'd suddenly develop a taste for my own pee and poop?

  • @Turdbuckethat - my point was that the stresses created by being in captivity cause the chimps to act out in ways they wouldn't in the wild. I've worked with chimps in both scenarios, captive and wild, and I've never seen the wild chimps display that kind of behavior. People in prison have the luxury of therapy. Captive apes don't.

  • @ritroo but that's not true. They have been observed doing the same thing in the wild. They do it to retrieve undigested seeds to re-eat them.

  • @ritroo

So if people in prison were stressed out, they'd start eating their own poo?

Many prisons DON'T have therapy, I hate to break it to you. But you don't see them crapping in their hands and eating it.

  • @ritroo People in prison have the luxury of therapy? WHAT THE HELL? Have you been to prison? People in prison don't get therapy. People in prison are treated like animals.

  • @rocaho001 Depends what country you are from. But yes, prisons can be more luxurious than many working class homes now. And in developed countries, yes, there is always compulsory psychological therapy. PS. We are animals, the human animal.

  • @ritroo By far my favorite animal. Great vid!

  • @ritroo I know someone who works in a prison. Inmates play with their poop and pee.

  • @Turdbuckethat A lot of human prisoners come close to that behavior. Many prisoners have been known to act out by smearing their excrement over the walls in their cells, throwing it at the correctional officers, etc.

  • @Monarchos Your right! I never thought of that LOL

  • @Turdbuckethat That is the most stupidest comment I have ever seen.

  • @Turdbuckethat There are documented cases of that, yes. In fact, there are plenty of clinically sane people who do that too. You should be aware of that by now, being an internet troll. Honestly, grow up.

  • @Turdbuckethat Are you a retarded person???

  • @SavageLatinoKid yes I am. why do you think I wear a turdbucket for a hat dummy

  • @Turdbuckethat I only have one question for you sir: How old are you? According to your profile you're 48, I sincerely hope that's not true, and if it is all hope is lost.

  • @ritroo btw it's not only chimps who do it. All the apes species do as well as most of the monkey species.

  • Why do people assume a human laugh is a normal laugh. If you actually detach yourself, and seriously LISTEN to a human laugh it sounds just as weird as any other animal.

  • Why can't ppl jux enjoy the fact that hearing a little chimp laugh was adorable? Jux saying if u wanna get into a political argument join the debate team at ur school lol B)

  • SO CUTE!!!! :)

  • aww

  • That was laughing? It sounded more like a cross between panting and grunting.

  • @fubukifangirl

that's how chimps laugh. humans laugh the way they do because of developments in our vocal chords to enable speech

  • aaaawhawhhh i love them!

  • haha i want to tickle alphie

  • ROFL!

  • awwwwwwww he is sooooooooo cuteeeeeee

  • Aww! So cute!

  • dont know bout you but i would NOT put my finger in a monkies ear.

  • @THEwinsauceofTETRIS - You put your finger in your own ear don't you? Hehe

  • Awwwwwwwwwwwww thats so cuute!!!!!!

  • Thats cute! :D

  • their like Super humans (strechable, hard to get hurt, doing flips un beliveablE!!

  • @anyvids51 -- Alphie, the 2 year old chimp that I'm tickling, ran up to me one day and playfully slapped me on the back. It totally knocked the wind out of me! They're insanely strong! They say a 3 year old chimp is strong enough to throw THREE Arnold Schwarzenezggers across the room!

  • @ritroo o.o Just throwing one Arnold is impressive enough...!

  • @ritroo "They" are wildly exaggerating the strength of a chimp. A three year old chimp would have to be capable of lifting 1,800 lbs. to be three times the strength of Arnold. Yes, chimps are considerably stronger than humans. But even an adult male chimp is only about 3 times the strength of a man.

  • @Monarchos Well although what he said was a lie, he didn't say throw three times as much as Arnie, it siad, throw 3 of HIM.

  • @ritroo Holy shit, scared me just watching you play with it. They are seriously dangerous when they get older. I'd honestly rathered be mauled by a bear then be attacked by a chimp and have my face, balls and w/e else ripped off.

  • @ritroo Is it safe to be around them?

  • I love chimps!!

  • awwww thats tooo cute!

  • lol thats a chimps instinct. go for the eyes. u cover your eyes. it goes for the genitals lol

  • that cute little pet will tear your face off . . stupid people loving animals more than humans ! IDIOCY ! they are NOT human and should NOT be made as pets !

Anyone that gets injured asks for it being so intimate with these WILD ANIMALS !

DUMB ! Go help a child, feed the poor and help those in society that are weakest amongus HUMANS are MORE IMPORTANT THAN ANIMALS !

  • @ITALOVER2 Ur a dumbass........Learn to respect Mother Nature, it keeps you alive

  • @Gioachino350 I DO respect it enough to know NOT to mess with WILD ANIMALS ! FOOLS ! THEY ARE ANIMALS . .say it a thousand times and maybe you will get it !

  • @Gioachino350 Theres Wild Animals and Then Theres Domesticated Animals like Cats and Dogs.

  • @ITALOVER2 c==3 suck it. and suck it good.

  • 4 People obviously don't have enough joy in their lives.

  • That is so adorable that I'm pretty sure my grin is going to break my face.

  • Baby chimps, yes. Adult chimps? You can count me out! I like having a face.

  • I wonder if Chimps can laugh hard enough to pee themselves

  • Chimps Are Like Totally ADORABLE!!!!:DDD♥

  • chimp are funny i wanna be a billionaire so freaking bad so i can have my own chimp

  • That didn't sound like a human

  • @22Stinker22 Well they're not human.

    2+2=4!

  • @22Stinker22 LOL FAIL. That's right, chimps *SHOULD* sound like a human.....because they're not...?? Wait....what?? HMMMMM

  • @MrShadowz1337 :) I'm really stupid... Are you happy?

  • AAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

  • That is so awesome! It made me smile!

  • this isn't laughing, it is exciting them but it isnt making them laugh

  • 4 people voted that they don't like this videao? What is there NOT to like? that's just crazy.

  • GOD, PLEASE PROTECT OUR CHIMPS!!!

  • AW!!!

BUT 0:34 the chimp got drop kicked, in the face, TWICE

    they're so cute :3

  • Sounds like Chuckie/Dexster/Any male character voiced by christine cavanaugh. lol

  • Sooooo sweet!

  • This video makes it so obvious that we are related to these creatures. :)

  • "HERE IT COMES! HERE IT COMES! IT'S COMING!" xP

  • I KNEW we weren't the only species with a sense of humour.

What I'd give to be able to work with chimpanzees... or any other primate for that matter.

  • he can talk! he can talk! Dr zaius Dr Zauis!

  • They're just so cute before they grow up and want to smash yer brains in.

  • if i heard dat id think its choking! akkkhhhrrr akkrhh arkkk!!

  • wow. that just creeped me out XD

  • IT'S NOT A MONKEY!!! PEOPLE GET WITH IT....I'm seeing too many comments saying that it is one... Both monkey's and apes are in the primate family (as well as lemurs and humans)...but that's it... That's like calling a gorilla a monkey, you very well know it's not....same thing goes for chimpanzees!!!

  • I only youtubed this because I'm reading an article for my Psych class about human laughter and it started talking about how chimps laugh.. I just HAD to look it up and I started laughing myself!

  • it's like a little demon lol

  • Soooo cuute

  • Man! the bird can talk a little human language but..if you see this gorilla speaking ...YOU WILL RUN FOR THIS CASE!!

  • thats so cute ;D

  • cute!!!

  • aw this is so cute :)

  • respect the animalsss!!

  • soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo cute

  • Wild Animals = bad pets

  • they are but i still love monkeys

  • @Videomaster74 I love monkeys too.... but let's remember...these are APES not MONKEYS!! There is a big difference between them!!

  • @lost2darkness What d'yah mean Chimps are the closest specias to a human so they sometimes grow to exept us. Like Tigers are close to lions. Dogs close to wolves.

  • @CreativeGuyKyle Actually there is a case recently where a pet chimpanzee attacked a woman and literally ripped her face off. Look it up, its pretty disturbing.

  • @lost2darkness These aren't pets. Read the desc.

  • @jedihunter176 I guess either the description has changed since posted my original comment 9 months ago or I missed it.

:( Sad when wild animals lose their parents and their homes.

  • @lost2darkness Well, at least most of them are given good homes...

  • @jedihunter176 I dont think you understand - wild animals should NEVER be kept as pets (I'm not even referring to the video here - an animal sanctuary is different, but I still think that that much human interaction is not the best idea).

as much as I'd really love to own a Serval or another wildcat it is just WRONG to do so. Wild animals belong in the wild.

  • @lost2darkness I understand, Darkness. I never said anything about owning a wild animal as a pet. What I meant by given good homes, was in places like animal sanctuaries/orphanages, good preserves, etc.

I agree with you on not having wild animals as pets, however, I think this applies to mostly mammals and birds. Reptiles (save for crocodilians and large/venomous snakes) seem to be a huge exception. They adapt well to captivity, and there are plenty of reptile care products out there.

  • chimps and gorillas are not animals.

  • @HateFenians I'd like to know how you categorize apes then?

Also Im one of those people who consider humans to be in the "animal" category...so that would definitely make chimps and gorillas fall under that umbrella as well. They are "wild" animals because they have not been domesticated.

  • @lost2darkness Great comment!

  • @lost2darkness No kidding- these a babies- ORPHANAGE in the description.

  • the things like 1 year old lol probably elss

  • aw. too cute <3

  • aaw that is so cute

  • cute!

  • That monkey was awesome. That's definitely the closest resemblance I've seen so far of a chimp giggling/snickering/laughing.

  • They''re cute when they are babies, but give them a few years and they will rip your face off.

  • lol

  • Only because humans who shouldn't keep them as pets keep them as pets.

  • lol, did you just base that off of that opera victim that had the pet chimp? She was an idiot! She kept a male adult chimp as a pet and put it in a cage...chimps are basically humans that aren't very smart, so what would you do if someone treated u as a pet, and put u in a cage for no reason?

  • They can, but probably won't unless, like all animals, including humans, are under stress or are very angry.

  • @boatbumd4 And the sad thing is that's actually true.

    Cute video anyway.

  • @boatbumd4 why would u say such a thing!!!

  • @IndigoCat17 because its verry verry true

  • @boatbumd4 you can train them

  • I think i have just fallen in love! So adorabubble.

  • how cute!

  • very kool i would love to have some type of monkey when later on in life

  • only in africa.

  • oh my goood *-*

    lovely ^w^

  • That sounds absolutely adorable:)

  • ...LOL

  • Aww! :)

  • the chimp sounds like it been smoking for a while

  • It would have been better if we all would have stayed apes instead of becoming humen beings.

  • This may be the defining quote of this century,

  • We did.

  • Cute :)

  • i wish i had the opportunity to do that :(

  • That's actually pretty funny!

  • There's not much I can think of as cute as a baby chimp. It's sad the little guys/gals often lose their mothers by the time they've made it to video but at least they're being taken care of. And at least if more people see how human like they are, ,more people may care and help save them

  • we are 93% exactly the same to chimps, chimps are a mans best friend, not dogs. i wish you could have one as a pet

  • No you don`t. You cant domesticate them and they are at least twice as strong as you.

  • Yeah, they are not meant to be domesticated.

  • Omg thats too cute they is laughing hahahhaha!! I want to play witha chimp they are soo cute

  • How cute!

  • OH MY, IT'S JUST SO CUTE!!! It sounds like a creepy old guy's laugh, but the chimp is just so cute!!!

  • its sooooooooo cute!!!!!!!!!!! HAHAHA!!!!!

  • Chimps are strong as hell!

  • they are really cute; though you wouldn't catch me tickling them!

  • Man this is one of the cutest things I've ever seen.

  • that is awesome!

  • I just automatically got this huge smile on my face when I heard them laugh!

  • hahahahaha yeah me too i couldnt help it

  • @batalisto Lol same here

  • Thank YOU, Terra. I'm sure the chimps will appreciate it. :)

  • People who get to work/raise chimps and other exotics are so lucky. People like me will never have that chance except to see them through bars.

  • Terra...you can actually. There are a number of chimpanzee sanctuaries in the United States where you can volunteer. You might not be able to actually interact with them, but they won't be behind bars -- they'll be in protected outdoor enclosures. It's an amazing thing to behold. I hope you're able to find a place where you can volunteer -- it will change your life.

  • Hi, Ritroo. Thank you for your comments. There are a couple sanctuaries in my state, but they are many miles to the South. I don't have the time, even on weekends with travel time I have to put in. The least I can do is donate fruits and veggies. One sanctuary has The Meal Deal program. You can donate to feed a chimp for a week, month or year.

  • Donating/adopting a chimp is as close as I'll get and better than doing nothing at all. The sanctuary's mission is to provide a permanent sanctuary for the lifelong care of chimpanzees rescued from research laboratories, entertainment and the pet trade.

    Thanks again, Ritroo.

  • That sounds truly amazing ritroo, is there somewhere i can learn more about these places?

  • @TerraCLyn Yeah they are lucky :) In a perfect world though, they would all be in the wild : /

  • @bennylbja Its a wildlife orphanage, so I'm guessing that the goal is to rescue them and hopefully return them to the wild. Sometimes that isn't possible, but I know there are a lot of sanctuaries (not zoos) that give them a great quality of life.

  • @TerraCLyn awww yeahh chimps are so cute and are amazing, but then I think about that woman who had her face ripped off by a chimp and it all changes.

  • haha, this is the best thing to make some one smile :-)

  • you gotta love the greater apes.

  • that was cute! they may be animals butthey act too human sometimes.

  • ha! that sneezing monkey is genius.

  • well, its no sneezing monkey!

  • @stikkeisandreas exactly right!! it's a laughing ape!!!

  • ahahahahahaha lol i was laughing soooo hard that is sooooo cute!!!

  • hahaha, that just made my day

  • Lmao This Sound So Much Like My Man Laughin

  • lol funny. it sounds messed

  • haha one of my old friends laughed like this.

  • it is so sad that people are testing on these amazing animals. it get so sad thinking about it. but this is adorable. i really hope i can go to africa some day and see these animals in person.

  • that chimp skin on its head didn't look very good and I hope she's caring for this little guy properly. It didn't sound like gigling to me.

  • hi...just read your comment. i volunteered at this place in africa --- all the chimps there were rescued from poachers who killed their families. we hung out with them on a daily basis to kind of recreate their normal family dynamic. alphie was 2 in this video - and very healthy after having been chained up by his waist for 2 years. and he's definitely giggling, not being aggressive. they're totally ticklish, just like little kids.

  • I'm glad you told me that . I'm so sick of the vid's where you see the spirit of the monkey destroyed by humans by keeping them chained tightly to some filthy depressing cage and their owners see nothing wrong with this. It repeats far to much all over the world. We as humans should be ashamed of ourselves.

  • The only vids I've seen of that are ones where they are being rescued. You've seen a vid where an owner has one chained up and it's being filmed as a good thing? I'd appreciate any links - it sounds like you've seen quite a few.

  • I've been seeing many vid's of Sanctuaries raising young chimps and it dawned on me that all these young creatures had their mothers brutally murdered by poachers . Most likely sold for bushmeat. Apparently bushmeat is being exported illegally to Finland, Germany ,Egypt and a few other countries. The U.N must get involved with this problem instead of sitting on the fence which is usually all there good for.

  • Here in the states, the chimps probably came from families bred in captivity (read Nim Chimpsky the chimp that would be human for a real eye opener) as opposed to poached but it's always awful to see cases where they are treated awfully. I disagree on the UN, their track record with saving people is so bad-their peacekeepers would likely end up being part of the bushmeat trade and providing cover for poachers. Changing people's minds/values is the only answer I can see.

  • That sound IS chimp giggling/laughing. It is also known as "the happy pant." Also, notice, along with that sound was the play face, where the mouth is hanging open, lower lip loose, upper lip usually covering the upper row of teeth. I work with chimps for a living and hear this sound and see that face quite a lot during the day, especially after playing chase or tickling them.
