totally sick cover man. are you directly plugged into the computer or just plain video recording? im using a macbook pro as well and use the iMovie to edit. havent uploaded any covers yet since i cant figure out how to tweak the sounds properly. im getting the volume swells on my covers. some parts get really quiet and some just burst out loud. any ideas how to fix this? ive tried using the normalize option on iMovie but it didn't work well. any help would be appreciated. thanks

@nomoreofyou Thanks for the praise bud. I'm plugged into my amp, which has an SM57 mic running into my MBox2. I record the guitar listening to the song (mic is only picking up my playing). I transfer the mp3/m4a files to iMovie and sync it accordingly. I don't use any effects, that is all amp.

cool. i dont have your setup. im just plainly recording on the camera itself. guess i need to get me one of those mics and MBox2 thingy. Plus, you can hear the pick scrapes on my cover. total suck. although, when the volume is normal, you can hear the clean chug on my guitar parts. im using a shredhead pedal, connected to TS808 ending in my NS2 pedal. pretty sweet if i could get the real sound recorded. ill try and upload some videos so you can see the mess up on volume.
