  • i remember watching her funeral. I was 7 and right away on a orange piece of paper ( i dont know why i remember the color) i wrote a note to "God" asking Him to let her be in heaven ...im 21 now ...so odd to think that I wrote a letter ...RIP Princess

  • no wonder Harry is a red head he may be of the House of Windsor but he is a Spencer through and through

  • I've watched all 10 parts before this, and only now seeing her boys does it really get to me. Now I can't stop crying. Seeing them makes it seem more real somehow.

  • her death was planned by the royal family, because she started to expose who they rlly were.....evil ppl

  • i was four months old and i went with my family to lay flowers at buckingham palace its so sad! :(

  • charles didn't even took their hands. what kind of father is that? sorry, but.. what the hell?!

  • *sons

  • i have so much respect for both princes william & harry to be able to do what they did, they are very much their mother's son.

  • Princess Diana would be very happy of William today at his wedding..there was even a seat saved for her... And I think see was looking down smiling and very proud of her boy.. God bless... them boys grew up without a mother to hold them and comfort them like mothers do.. If that was my mum I would kill myself... :( :)

  • now her son is a married man...she and kate would have been the best of friends!

  • Prince William got married today and when the vicar announced their marraige the sun shone (it was a very bleak day) and the whole of Westminster Abbey lit up. I believe that this was Princess Diana looking down from heaven and smiling, smiling because her child had grown up and found love after this heartbreak. rip diana.

  • And to think that prince william was married just today...

  • RIP Diana .. today 29, april 2011 she would have been a proud mother .. had she been there on her son william's wedding day .

    RIP .. love you

  • I was 5. Only thing I remember is my mom telling me to wear a seatbelt or I'll die like princess Diana did.

  • I moved to England the year before she died and I think that was the first time i heard about a Royal Family and when she died, she was probably the first stranger I cried for, i dont remember that much i was like 4

  • how he miss his mother tomorrow on his wedding...

  • I was 21 when this happened and remember watching the funeral and sobbing. So brave of her boys to walk behind her all that way.

  • 14 years has passed and I still cry when I watch this. The sight of these young boys with their heads bowed as they follow Diana's coffin breaks my heart. No one can fill the emptiness that a mother's absence leaves behind. Such a sad day in history... not just for the Royal family and for England, but in general. She truly was the People's Princess.

  • I was at a stag do when this was on, talk about poor timing. You'll all be happy to note the groom is now divorced.

  • This reminds me of JFK's very public funeral.. and their children that were too young to have had to deal with it :(

  • My heart broke for those 2 boys. Diana would have been so proud of the way they've turned out - very nice young men and Prince Wills tribute to her by giving Kate her ring and having the wedding in the Abbey is really touching. He must still miss her so much.

  • it's all her husband's fault.

  • These boys have tremendous strength. I would be in pieces if I was expected to go though what they had to. Their continued love for Diana is amazing...the places they have gone and everything they have done in her name is such an inspiration to us all.

  • I remember what I was doing when I heard that awful day... and every moment of this funeral like it was yesterday. I stayed up late to watch it live her in New Zealand. It was on at something like 1am....

She will never be replaced. We are not lucky enough to have more than one star that shines so brightly in a lifetime...

  • when I first saw this, I was surprised by how tall William was; I hadn't seen pics of him in a while, and I still thought of him as a small boy, about the size Harry is here.

  • I remember getting read for work in the US early that AM and my husband saying "well Princess Diana is dead". It was unreal. This funeral was even more unreal and so was the courage and bravery of those two young men. I am so glad than a grandfather, uncle, and most importantly a father could join them. God bless.

  • still can't believe they made the boys walk behind the coffin like that.

  • She died on my birthday... my parents being British were torn between the two. ( celebrating my birthday and mourning the loss of princess Di)

  • Wonderful to see the Rabbi recognized too.

  • It irks me...Charles looks like he is taking a walk in the park. My heart broke for William and Harry having to see that.

  • how composed and brave were the two boys? wow - you have to be proud of them!!

  • I think it says a lot for the Royal family that her ex husband and ex father in law would walk behind the coffin - yes, it was to help the sons, but it's still respectful and I admire them for that

  • i still have the feeling that her majesty came only to pay her respect for lady di,after she was convinced that her people would not forgive her treatment of lady di by her family.

with other words, she needed to go to lady di,s funeral for p.r. reasons.

  • Is the brother Catholic? He crossed himself as the coffin passed @ 1:37 ... I've never seen an Anglican do that.

  • In the history of monarchi, there have been kings and older than Charles and much younger than William.

  • i remember having a day of school at diana & charles wedding, & the night she died being released from the prison cells by grampian police & being told she had died (i was drunk) going home & watching the news sooooo sad, & for that two boys without mother who shone so very bright

  • omg harry was so little. so sad. i don't even remember this, i was basically a toddler when this happened. but i cannot imagine looking into william and harrys eyes on that day.

  • I was only 6 years old, but I remember when I heard about this..it's just so sad. And, those boys, there are not enough words to express how m heart goes out to them.

  • I think Diana would have laughed.................she was a private type

  • i was only 8 yrs old when i watch this, sad day.

  • i remember hearing the news when it happened..i was 9 years old and it broke my heart..all the sadness and pain i felt for diana came right back when michael jackson died. ughh..

and its been 12 years now i hope her boys..well men are ok now

  • @XtinaZapata1437 its a bit different having a real princess die compared to a man in the entertainment industry die. i understand where your coming from but the comparison between the two shouldnt be made :/

  • @XtinaZapata1437 i was 12 when she died felt so sad and your right it came right back when Micheal jackson died

  • it's so heart broken to see the 2 boys following the coffin...Prince William's head is down through the process....poor thing....

  • i stii remember my mum tellin me diana was dead tears running down her face it was a sad day. She was a women tat touched the world in here own way and will never be forgotten. lots of luv from ireland.

  • Would have been such a hard day for her boys

  • id of balled out if i saw my own mum in a coffin

  • a very sad day in history

  • i cant imagine the fact, how much she might have abhored her boys, being told to do this for duty, but I must say i cannot stand her brother front row and center, what an ego, wow, idjiot,

a wee bit of something for me eh?

  • @maidmoira under the English system, he was head of the Spencer family and after all, it was a State funeral.

  • Brave kids!

  • Rest in Peace

Maybe ye dinnae hae been a scottish princess, but ye hae been a mother, a woman full o' courage.

Maybe ye will find your peace of eternity.

  • her mission was humanitarian

  • Harry was such a little man that day. And poor William looked like he barely made it through the procession.

  • i love U Diana!!! i Miss U!!!! Diana, symbol dobroci i milosci na calym swiecie, kwintesencja kobiecosci..charyzmy..!

  • i think princess maxima form netherlands its beautiful too!

  • princess diana...the most beautiful princess of the world

  • i felt like her sons should have been the only people following their mother since its was their duty as sons

  • However, that would have been a huge burden for two very young boys. Therefore, I think it was right to have the support of their father, uncle and grandfather.

I'm not a Royalist in anyway whatsoever - but Diana was such a genuine and lovely person.

  • The reason the boys could do it was because they are Royal. They are a different bread, more dignified then most...

  • Pumpernickel I think.

  • LOL :)

  • BLOODY murdering reptiles!!!RADIANT, OMNIPRESCENT, GODDESS DIANA was set up from the beginning .. If you LOVE DIANA then please EXPOSE these REPTILIAN DRACOS THAT ARE THE 'ROYAL' FAMILY!!! FOR THE IMPOSTORS THEY ARE ... DIANA WOULD BE PROUD.. SEE DIANA INTERVIEW "THEY ARE NOT HUMAN' ....

Do your research you'l thank me for it one day....

  • did they have a open casket or close casket i saw wat the car shw was in look like and it doesnt like too good so does anboy know was it a open or close casket?

  • Closed.

  • i really don't understand how those two boys held their posture so much in public especially watching their dead mother pass by. I would have screamed and cried if it where me. i would have ran towards the cariage and stoped them. i still can't handle it and i'm watching it 10 years later. I miss her very much. and i only met her briefly one time.

  • i agree with iann64 William should be the next king

Prince Charles is to old to be king he will be king for about 7 years before he dies

  • Prince Charles is too old and Prince William is too young, i dont think that he wants to take the hugh duty of being a king at only 25 years old.

  • If Prince Charles is too old at 58, what about our current monarch at 81???????!!!!!!!!!!!

  • mrbgb12 is the one who said first that prince Charles is too old not me.

  • If Queen Elizabeth lives as long as her mother, William could be in his 40s or older before he sits on the throne of England.

  • that walk must have been so hard for them two boys i could'nt do that it would break my heart

  • prince william must be the next king of britain. his mother will be so much happy!!

  • I doubt if William or Charles would have the time to be 'King' as it would no doubt encroach on their joint passion for exterminating Britain's wildlife, which is something Diana did not do.

  • many thanks for the video!!
