I actually just did the entire trail last week. It's quite tough, but fun. The 2nd day with plateau mountain and hunter mountain was actually the hardest , even though you're only covering about 6 miles.

@obriente Nice, how much did your pack weigh? I was wondering to do it in 2 or 3 days. What was your favorite part?

@ihikearoundcom I was carrying about 35 pounds, but almost 10 pounds of that was water. Take your time and do it in 3 days, doing it 2 is going to be hard and potentially unpleasant. The only day we had any sun was the last day coming down Hunter and going over West Kill, which also had the best views, so that was probably the highlight. But a lot of the scrambles up Indian Head were a lot of fun too.

@kookiemoose The Catskill (peaks) have a Maine feel to them, underrated for sure. If the mountains were above the tree line this place would be unreal!

@wawhiker Haha might take a while! We for sure will do other parts of the devils path, the gear was a challenge on this hike(too much of it)

@hinckleypoland Thank You but New York can not compare to Arizona. Woods canyon, monument valley region, Sedona it all amazing. I miss hiking in Arizona!

@ihikearoundcom Its hard to argue that one but upstate NY has a special place in my heart. I am truly blessed to be able to have most of my adventures here in AZ with a few excursions in NY.
