I miss N64. Style wise nothing beats Perfect Dark's presentation - the MGS/FF7 of FPS. N64 reinvented most of gaming despite lagging behind the PSX - re invented platforms with Mario, FPS with GE and PD, adventure and EPIC games like Zelda and a SEQUEL, where PS pumped out 10 hour sequels like a factory, and great racing and multiplayer titles.

I totally agree with you, without a doubt one of the fiest games ever made. It was just Goldeneye but better, it reached heights in gameplay which I think, have yet to be surpassed.

I mean Counter Operative, every gun with a second function, such a variety of sims and not to mention the graphics and story. This game is supreme, shame Rare have gone to hell since being bought out by Microsoft

The Conspiracy Cutscene. Search yotube for 'Perfect Dark G5' there are severel speedruns showing the trick.

The Scene is called "3.2 - Special" it's the scene where you use the camspy to record the conspiritors. Starts with de Vries "We've recovered the sapient...".

You put the camspy in the floor, go to the safe, start the decoding and activate the camespy, fly in the room to trigger the scene of the conspiritors and watch it. You'll notice the small clock, ticking for the decoding device ,while the scene is running.

i remember they stopped coming on agent, but on pa when like 5 are in the room with magnums forget it, i'm dead, i can't avoid the fire, i guess the best bet is to detonate and run away.

There is a glitch you can use to avoid fighting off the guards while waiting for the decoder.

You can decode the door while watching the cutscene, it's quite cool. That way I bet the time that was nessaccery for the cheat.

now i'm having trouble with the G5 building on PA, i detonated the mine but i didn't have that much health and there's no way to do it without getting hurt, so i died, right at the end~!!

In such situations I tend to lock my self in the safe, shoot through the door with the DY357 Magnum and detonate the mine. When there is a quite second I run out and straf through the exit.

my aiming isn't terrible but it's not perfect^^ although i was able to beat the level. i pulled off this really cool headshot where i leaned out and shot and then when i was accessing the elevator, cassandra's bodyguard missed me by an inch and as soon as i got that objective complete, i heard "Halt fugitive!" scared me too i had my volume on really loud. there was one time i was doing that level though and i shot the targeted rocket at the hovership and it never blew it up it was so weird.

Yeah ammo is quite a matter, especially on Perfect Agent. There is just one thing to avoid running dry: Good aiming. ^^' And that needs quite some practise.

actually there was one cheat i didn't get before my name got deleted. i wasn't able to do crash site on agent in 2:50 due to the fact i got lost in the caves and stuff. the level i didn't like was the pelagic one where u have to shut off the power, i couldn't stand that level. u definately have to change the controls in order to get elvis and definately ditch the explosive crate...don't lug that thing all the way up. just blow it up with the super dragon.

But I still don'T think that u'd have to change controls, I allwaays missed just a few seconds, so it should be possible without changing.

Crashsite I found quite ok, but that's propably because it's one of my fav leveles so I know it very well.

but u can't get any cheat really by normal strafing u have to change the control settings to 1.2 so u can strafe really fast which is required, but u just have to get used to the controls first.

oO I allways strafed with the normal controls and got all but one cheat (and the last one most likely is missing bacause I don't linke the level).

Maybe it's the technique.

yeah i know it just took me a while to master correctly, sometimes i would get caught running into a wall lol, and that slowed me down. the tricky part with getting to play as elvis is u have to push him down and strafe past him and open the door, but sometimes the door closes before he can get there which wastes a minute of precious time^^

i have no clue, he probably thought it was funny or something.^^ but i have to get back all the cheats and challenges and everything! but i figured how to speed strafe. u hold right or left c and up c and move the analog stick in the direction your moving.^^

The A51 cheese is all in the same A51 room, cause the whole A51 is one big map (in infiltration there's a trick to access the whole map). So in infiltration it's in the vent just like in the other A51 lvls.

It's the first of three and tells the background of PDZ to PD, including why Carrington and De Vries know each other, how DeVries knows Easton and how De Vries became head of dataDyne. It's realy nice. Allthough I missed Easton's part. but he and Blonde should appear in the next two books. I'm looking forward to reading them.

Yes Trent is trapable, one cool thing is: In Air Force One, when he runs away, follow him without letting him out of sight. He won't despawn, turn around and starts shooting at you. He also aimes at the President (can see that in this video at 4:24)

Ah that's propably the US version. Knocked out, really? In my PAL Version he runns to the skedar ship and u can beat him for houres (what I actually tried xD ) and he never looses his shield or dies.

Mr. Blonde is actually based off of Nordics, which is a race of aliens who are in excellent physical shape and are a little taller than the average human. They resemble "Scandinavians." if u happen to recall the scene where Trent Easton calls him a "Scandinavian Freak" in the level Crash Site.
