  • Are You Shpongled?

  • since coming to university i've smoked a lot of pot and more recently tried ketamine which i thought was amazing cos of its hallucinatory effects. this, and watching stuff like this on youtube/reading anything on the internet and in books about acid, makes me really want to try LSD and i have a few friends who are really up for it as well but ive no idea whatsoever where to get some/where to even begin looking for it. has anyone got any general advice?

  • @foxhim1 When the time will come you will find it!

  • ITS TO POTENT TO DO 3 TIMES A WEEK THATS WHY ITS A SCHEDULE 1 DRUG NON ADDICTIVE

  • idk if i should or not, i really am torn about this.

  • @sickandtiredoflife i have done shrooms 2 days on after the other and i belive a couple days after that and i tripped balls all times my friend, plannin on droppin acid for the first time on thursday, hope all goes well

  • @sanfranlovesit yeah you will trip balls youre supposed to take double if you do it that same week , have a great time with the acid its beautiful and very life changing my freind , let me know if you get bunk shit or real shit :] hit me up have a wonderfull day when you do it

  • That last bit about spiritualist wannabes is true. But why can't we consider LSD and it complimentary beliefs a religion? It would be the only religion with an actual operating deity.

  • my favorite is pot. It's the king of all drugs. And no worse price

  • im gonna start growing psilocybe mushrooms yes i am

  • @charizma1 is reading / listening an ability we possess on drugs ..

  • After seeing this video series I don't have any desire to try LSD. I'll stick to meditation.

  • yeah thanks Kelly,,,,,,good job finding the last part :O/

  • Where is the last part?

  • i hate humans

  • @FissionNonStop

    Dude LMAO!

  • Comment removed

  • LOL @ 227Morgan.

  • ya fucked up

  • LSD is a KEY to your mind!

  • Is there anybody out there who is able to obtain a known quanitiy of high quality LSD (or any hallucinogen) manufactured by a trustworthy chemist? I love acid, but I hate not knowing what I'm putting into my body when I take a street drug. IF anybody has connections OR is as interested in finding somebody as I am, please PM me.

  • @227Morgan lol no fuk head

  • r u a nark?

  • i can get great acid i just picked up 10 hits lol

  • @MrJonpiersma

How many micrograms are in a hit?

  • @227Morgan The dosage level that will produce an hallucinogenic effect in humans generally is considered to be 25 micrograms. Over the past several years, the potency of LSD obtained during drug law enforcement operations has ranged between 20 and 80 micrograms per dosage unit. The DEA recognizes 50 micrograms as the standard dosage unit equivalency.

  • @fucktherich100

Well that was a very elaborate answer, which i appreciate, but it was to a question i didn't ask. My orginial question was in reference to somebody who said "I can get acid" (or something along those lines). I was just trying to point out that when you but it off the street, you don't really know what you're getting. Even if you know for sure it is LSD, you basically have to take the dosage (micrograms per hit) on faith.

  • @fucktherich100 Part 2

Unless of course there is some sort of chemical experiment which I am unaware of which can test for the quantity.

  • @fucktherich100 I don't think I could get off on 25 mics. Sunshine, windowpane, microdots, even liquid, has been dosed at 250 mics since I can remember. Six of those, and six hits of mescaline, a set of pastels, a blank wall... (shiver... was that the wall, or me? No, the wall's breathing normally... oh, fuck... there's a painting being sucked up by my chalk... no, I'm just painting backward... or is it inside out? No, it's just light... a creature of light... the infinipus...

  • Advice from an ex-user during 1972/73.

Don't listen to anyone who says it's good. Or bad. Don't listen to anyone who says it's mystical. Or not. Don't listen to anyone who 'knows' how to avoid a bad trip.

Taking LSD for the first time is YOUR call, and what happens is completely unpredictable.

If you decide not to, great!

If you decide to, read robjbray further down the page. His advice, although no guarantee of results, at least gives you a 50/50 chance - max - of it being good.

  • The Second Wave...

  • I took Lsd over the course of one week during the summer of 1996. doing one trip per 24 hours, then taking another 24 hours to chill, have nice bath and eat fruit and vegtables.

I took 3 trips in total it was the most magical thing I ever tried. But my formula is this : No strangers only close dear freinds, no candles or flames, no gas heaters or fires, no unexpected visitors, soft lighting and curtains when needed, ambient music not metal or hard harsh noise,s ice cream in the fridge for later

  • See this is what seperates good and bad trips . Obviously you are smart and prepared for your trip as you should and as everyone should . People that have bad trips i think are the ones that have not physically or mentally prepared themselves for it . I am only 16 years old , I am not indestructable , but all my experiences with lsd have been beautiful . People need to stop ignoring what people say about the drug and prepare themselves bottom line .

  • @robjbray SEE; now that was wise

thats the way it should be.

probably best to have near by friends as a rule to guide each other

    do things with love guys

  • @robjbray you are a pussy

  • @robjbray Thank you, my friend,

I will head your advice my first trip!

    Wish me luck (:

  • @robjbray it still troubles me how even timothy leary said it himself you can only drop acid once a week , youre telling me you did it everyday , thats impossible the first time i tried acid my freind did the same week prior , he did again and said he didnt feel shit , you cant call hoffman a liar or timothy leary , so the 29 people who voted thumbs up dont know shit about lsd !!!!!!!!!!! easy as that either that or youre all just wrong look up the facts there every where !!!!

  • @robjbray LSD IS A SCHEDULE 1 DRUG NONE ADDICTIVE THE ONLY REASON ITS NON ADDICTIVE IS BECAUSE YOURE NOT SUPPOSED TO DO IT 3 TIMES IN A ROLL ITS TO POTENT TO FEEL 3 TIMES A WEEK .......................... UNLESS YOURE DROPPING LIKE A MAD MAN . ONCE AGAIN LOOK UP THE FACTS

  • how can we watch the remainder of the video? It is clearly cutoff.

  • @xXOcsicnarFXx

    watch?v=-W-hw_t6zWg

LSD video remainder. its only 1.30 that you were missing from the video. theres another part also but its just the closing credits.

  • heroin? i don't know what all this fuss is about! i can handle it...

everyone thinks they can control heroin...

until it starts to control them...

i could give up tomorrow... couldn't i? LOL ROFL!!!!

  • oyyy... Sooo i do erroina bit oy?

Oyyy. I got dis fing unda control i just gotta toucha flu today.

I could give up tomorrow. blah blah blah Skiggy skaggy skiggy.

  • damn it! this not the last part!

  • As long as you're not very stupid or slightly insane and you don't trip more than once a week, you will be fine and will almost definitely have no permanent damage.

  • um... this is part 8....

  • Maybe the person who uploaded this took some LSD by this point and didn't know what he was doing lol

  • I can't wait to try acid. It'll be awesome!

  • So has anyone but me noticed that this video obviously has another part to it. This ends so abruptly in the middle of an interview.... Wheres the Real Last Part!?

  • I was alcoholic so I decided to use LSD25 to quit. And I quit, again and again: I have some alcohol every morning and LSD every evening to get rid of alcohol, and it works like a charm!

Some nights I can't sleep, though, so I get some heroin to lower LSD effects, and cocain in the very dawn to feel really awake before I prepare my vermouth!

  • you wondnt need any of this if you only had control of yourself. NOw you are a druggy and depended , Keeps you from being a human being at your potention. You need help my friend. Honestly. there are places that can help you, IM sure you know that.

Cheers. Best of luck. you need it.

  • I took lsd25 in liquid form when I was 14 years old. The year was 1974 and I cooked!!! I had an indescribable experience. I then took it a month or so later, clearlight, in gelatin form, and had the most frightening experience of my life! I didnt take acid again until I was 19, but it wasnt nearly as powerful as it was before. However, I did discover king crimson on this 2nd go round, so it was worth it! Be careful young ones!

  • Only someone who has had the experience can really speak to it. It's a very powerful substance. It does tend to rip away much of the socialization you are burdened with and allow you to see things clearly, without preconceived ideas. Eventually, however, as those socialized layers are peeled away, you are confronted with the traumas and fears that you have stuffed down into your subconcious, and then you either freak out or transcend. It's not for everyone, but it can lead to enlightenment.

  • The "fears that you have stuffed down into your subconcious" sound to me like similar experiences in spiritual practice, when almost all the layers, as you say, are peeled off. Gives me hope you can use a different path up the same mountain if that one doesn't work for you :-)

  • I want to get it in liquid form, dose anyone know how long it will keep in the refrigerator? And i'm in scotland, Edinburgh so would I get it 100% pure?

  • do shrooms first.

  • Yeah so dont do them alot!!!! hah i was going to do them on my birthday but im not now you learn something new everyday

  • just smoke pot

  • how about stay away from all sorts of drugs. There.

  • im sorry, are you my brain? do u have the right to tell ppl not to do something (drug or not)? no u rly dont, so dont say things like that, if someone wants to try something let them do it, and if u dont like it u dont have to worry about it, it has nothing to do with u

  • yeah seriously. smoke a joint and stop doing acid

  • Ive always felt like shrooms made me more prone to a bad trip than acid...the only more intense thing about acid is that it lasts so much longer.

  • im 15 and i want to try it.....im not ready for it though i have it planned out....im going to do it around when im in my mid 20s with a sober person to supervise me....im to imature and dont know much about life there fore when im in my mid 20s ill have one aspect of life and then the mystical version.......im a thinker

  • Comment removed

  • duude im 14 and all im saying is if take it now it'll be better jus be perpared to see new and amazingly beautiful things ull have a new perspective on life

  • Teenagers should stay away from drugs. Wait until you're mature enough to make your own decisions, and when the repercussions of your decisions only effect you instead of your family. Not against drugs...but I've seen young people make immature decisions and end up making mistakes.

  • that's true but LSD can be beneficial during certain years when you are developing a view of reality. My own LSD sessions during my highschool years led me to realize the fallacy of modern life and materialism and how it degrades the psyche and spirit. That can be helpful in avoiding being assimilated into the machine.

  • nicely said and I agree on so many levels

  • @crowkangi

100% true, i came to that realization just this saturday and im never going back

  • i'm 14 and now after watching this great documentary i feel ready to give it a try which will hopefully be tomorrow, thanks BBC.

  • If you're really 14 and really want to try it I would not recommend it. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone younger than 19 years old.

  • haha i know i'm not in any rush and i was half joking but it does sound like a pretty fun, safe drug.

  • JUST SMOKE POT FOR NOW LSD MIGHT JUST SKULL FUCK YOU if you don't know what your doing

  • yeah but i do know what i'm doing because i just watched this whole documentary and what happened to my other comment saying i was half kidding?

  • NO you don't and i didn't see the other one but REALLY YOU DON'T and as i sed just smoke pot for now and one question have you ever done anything

  • but ya dude these guys don't know shit about what there talking about NONE of them have every tryed it they just think about what might happen so this will not help you and right now i guess your telling me FUCK YOU MAN well ya thats what i would do but if you still want to try it the i recemend to do it with at least 3 or 4 of your friends that you know will not tell or snich or I SHIT YOU NOT YOU WILL HAVE A REALLY BAD TRIP

  • wat do u mean none of them have tried it? did u even watch the documentary? it shows numerous people on lsd researching the effects infront of a camera

  • Failed Priest, also known as a "Renowned Scientist"

  • Where do they find these people that are suppose to be intellectuals? Dogma, and more Dogma seems to be the extent of their thinking.Same old song our officials are weak, patronizing liars, and act like people can't think for themselves if given the facts. They fear what they can't understand and try to destroy what they can't control. Thank God for the great equalizer; one trip we will all take like it or not, Death. I love it, these fucking idiots can't snake out of it,change it, or control it.

  • Failed priests?

wtf, these people are identifying things wrong with the order of society and trying to change it. A better corollary is with the shamans of societies that started with civilization than with the failed church that now only knows death.

They were trying to create a new society, a new universal order and over throw the modern bullshit regimes.

  • By hidslogic, all intellectuals who do not commit to priesthood, are all failed priests.

A true example of someone who believes religion is the be all, and end all of the scale of human endeavour.

  • sooo now. what is the best music to listen to on a trip? :)

  • something not REALLY crazy such a what your mom might bitch at you 4 because when i tryed it 4 the first time my bro put death metal on and the SO VERY HORIBLE bad tripp started

  • Nutmeg. What about nutmeg? Utterly legal.

  • gravol is a deliriant, so you will get altered conciousness, but it's not like a psychedelic.

    Be careful with deliriants

  • dude he wrote brave new world to get people OUT of letting the controlling oligarchy control people with drugs, do the drugs on your own, so you know what it does and wont let someone else come along and control you with it

  • who man where can u get lsd and how much does it cost i just watched this whole film

  • taking gravol is not psychedelic and is what crackhead losers who cant afford or get their hands on real drugs do. you my friend are a custy.

  • hollywooooooooooooooooooooooood

  • im suprised timothy leary wasnt in this video

  • Everybody loves A. Huxley yet he wanted everyone, YOU too, to be in a drug induced state of mind (SSRI's) so that the Controlling Oligarcs (the secret men who control everyones lives (Rockefeller, Dupont, Reynolds etc) could keep us their slaves & not us even know it. Being happy with the invisible chains about your ankles. Like Camera grid, insane laws that make everyone guilty (censored drugs & media examples).

Brave New World is what he knew as truth. He hoped for it and was taught it.

  • He didn't hope for it, douchebag. He was warning us.

  • did you even read the book? tsh

  • you don't know anything about Brave New World. Brave New World is a distopian novel that describes the society he see's coming if we don't intervene and change things. Island is the novel in which he touted his ideal society. Everything in Brave New World is to espouse an evil in society.

Brave New World is similar to Fahrenheit 451 and Orwell's 1984.

Seriously, read the book before you try to talk about it.

  • I never trusted street LSD so i did mushrooms in my early 20's. They were local, free and easy to prep. I controlled the dose etc. I tried to do them several nights in a row but after the first time, you dont get the same feeling of well being or perception or whatever you wish to call it even if more is used. I had to wait about 2-3 months inbetween to really have fun or have a good time. otherwise it was just... boring.

I dont even want to do them now. & definately dont want acid.

  • why not? and what are the dangers of street lsd?

  • it is a real pain in the ass to mix and make lsd and acid and so on SO DON'T i repeat DON'T buy it off the street if it is mixed wrong I mean like one hundredth of a gram it could=death or REALLY fuck you up

  • LSD is amazing.

  • The more you use LSD, the less you want to keep doing it. I'm in my 30's and it was a phase in my late teens and early 20's, that I will never go back to. To this day, I'm still glad I did it for how it enhansed the way I think, and for inspiring creativity.

  • it just ends in mid sentence?

  • To sum it all up. YOU SHOULD TRY LSD ITS AMAZING

  • Most users of LSD voluntarily decrease or stop its use over time. LSD is not considered to be an addicting drug because it does not produce compulsive drug-seeking behavior like cocaine, amphetamines, heroin, alcohol, or nicotine.

  • Fuck that guy at the end, talking about "failed priests." It wasnt about that, it was more important than any sort of religious superstitous bullshit!

  • Our society could really use a priest-like position, whose social function would be as a medically, nutritionally and psychologically literate dispenser of these types of substances . . . it is clear that outright prohibition does nothing. Why not help people?

  • Is this not a repeat of part 8??

  • part 8 is exactly the same as part 9.

  • this series is interesting, but the way this guy ordered it is really poor, theres overlaps and some episodes are missing.

You have to realise that by providing unfinished/incoherently assembled episodes, youre gonna piss the viewers off.

  • i agree!

  • He was probably tripping when he uploaded it I sure it seemed perfect to him at the time.

  • Excellent documentary. Two thumbs way up!

  • 'he who seeks the meaning of life from the copybook of reason im afraid will never really see the point'

  • i like that, whered u get tht from?

  • I heard Ram Dass quote it somewhere or other from some poet

I havent quoted it completely correct im afraid but besides its merely language,

symbols to put across a shared feeling.

  • thankyou dude.

  • We are free to choose, and I choose freedom.

LSD is a tool for spiritual discovery, and Leary and Kesey were damn right. Period.

  • Fantastic documentary. Imagine taking acid just as you're about to die! and is it just me or does everyone hate that geek with the glasses? My first trip on shrooms was a bad one, but it changed my life and i've never had a bad trip since. I'm gonna take acid for the first time next week, been doing alot of mental preparation. Wish me luck! :P

  • Good Luck dude.

    Have a good trip :)

  • I Plan to try it sometime within the next few weeks, How did your first time go? Any recommendations for preperations?

  • ah it was after spoiling a bit by the time i got it, so it was weak. store yours in a freezer in tin foil! still had fun though outside. at one stage i got lost in a field by myself at night with a farmer shouting at me lol, but was laughing about it after. its alot more colourful than mushrooms actually.. wanted a stronger trip!

  • My first trip was the best one to this date. i have had some trips lately that have been pretty awesome, but nothing close to my first. i was in complete awe an hour into the trip i couldn't believe the colours and the way the roof was moving and swirling to the music! i would suggest that you have music, water, and candy prepared for your trip. Candy is delicious on acid!

  • also a fun thing to do while trippin is to have a large place to color or draw. my first trip, i drew what looked like a cat throwing up on a dinosaur... lol but i was stupid with it and jumped from weed to lsd... not the greatest plan... lol

  • Be in a comfortable environment and you trip harder when you are by yourself.

Don't be in public when it first kicks in. You may have sensory overload. Be someplace quite and have some good music playing.

  • Roger Scruton? The one who lives in the real world?

  • I don't get it why would they end the documentary with idiot giving his ridiculous opinion, he never even took the drug, he's a waste of human life and his miserable existence will be lost time as well as all his idiotic opinions

  • waste of human life?

    surely not that bad

  • Because he's a highly regarded and influential modern philosopher with more clout than any of the other speakers in the documentary.

  • using blade runner music on a anti-heroin propaganda video??

  • This documentary claims implicitly that only because of this drug - LSD - people began searching for a new spirituality and questioning the lifestye of the establishment.

This is in its own way very arogant.

LSD became popular not until 20 years after invention: When the time was just right.

  • There is no salvation in becoming adapted to a world which is crazy. - Henry Miller

  • what a great show.

  • i took hundreds of acid trips from the age of 13 to 25 and it eventually stopped working properly and became less hallucinogenic and more confusing.

it is not a condonable substance nor one that can be shunned, that is its beauty , you are entirely responsible for yourself and everything you believe. what you believe will be as you believe it to be. but what creates your beliefs is a different subject. who knows better than you?

  • I took shrooms twice in consecutive weekends when i was 17. id say it messed my head up a lot for a long time because it was such a profound effect. my whole reality changed and im artistic, analytical, and very visual so i am sensitive to visual drugs anyway. but looking back now im 24 id say that ther is no longer any effects or has been for many years and id definately recommend ppl try it at least once. it does open ur mind and change who you are to a more philisophical level. worth trying

  • i like what you say. I would like to try, but its nearly impossible to get it

  • yes, in the US it is hard to find. depending on your age and determination, it IS possible to find grow boxes, spores, or grow kits online. a grow box is a box which already has growing medium and spores in it. you simply add water and wait for the fruit of your investment. growing the spores yourself can be a tedious process because everything must be sterile, i had a friend who grew his own that way once. i believe recently the US passed laws restricting the sale of spores, kits, or boxes.

  • for some people...

i will get like in 3 days acid lsd for mail :D

it will be my first trip

that is why i saw this movie

    btw trance rules too XD

  • =D Enjoy! hope you got some real there is plenty of Fake out there

  • Wow, Albert Hoffman lived to be 102... what a smart smart man. He studied the pyschedelic effects of many drugs.. salvia divinorum, lsd, shrooms, and it is obvious that these drugs are nowhere near as bad as the government say they are as this man lived to be a very old, wise 102 year old. He unfortunately died earlier this year of a heart attack, RIP Albert Hoffman.

  • Thanks for the very helpful posts, uduvudu. It's funny that so many people gave your second transcript post negative feedback because they thought you were bashing lsd, haha.

  • That was a god documentary, thending is pasted below, we didnt miss much at all.

  • i wld like to see the ending

  • kesey is righteous.

  • these videos were quite informative. i wish i could have expierenced the 60s ):

  • This is not but hope it helps.

I too was pissed off when found last part was missing, but now at least you know this part isn't significant.

  • After that we see Hofmann walking in the field and then close up interview, where he says:

"The most important what I gained from LSD experience was insight, that which is commonly believed to be ethereality is not something fixed, but rather ambiguous. I experienced another reality under LSD and before that I always thought there is only one reality, the true reality, but then i realized there are assortimentions(?) of reality..."

    THE END

  • MISSING SEGMENT IS VERY SHORT, JUST FEW SECONDS! HERE IS THE TRANSCRIPT:

"But they didn't have necessary transcendental belief or a necessary (here the 9th part ends) ability to sacrifice themselves. So that they took up LSD as a religion in order to preach something to the multitude and they had something to offer to multitude, which in a consumer society means offering something quick, easy and satisfying.

  • maaaaaaaaaaannnn end of the movve?!?!??!?!

  • wtf this is the same as pt 8...WHERES THE END OMFG.

  • ah! the fact that the last segment of this documentary is missing is giving me a bad trip! :P

  • your wrong huxley had acid running in his veins, read his books you can notice it on his writing

  • i forgot to say "i love SOUL TRAIN"

  • weed equal to lsd in small amounts?

not even close. read up buddy.

    better yet, try some.

  • marijuana? lol marawana.....

  • Where is the end?! FUCK!

  • "beautiful expression on his face"

  • timguthrie84, you are a moron. You obviously missed the entire point of this documentary. I enjoy LSD as do you but you are most likely the individual who takes it inappropriately. Huxley was an amazing individual but why would you praise him for his "love and devotion for this shit"? He appreciated it but I don't think he loved it.

  • thank you for uploading this whoever you are! I watched the whole 9-part series in one sitting.

  • as did i

  • me 2 ^^

  • same ^_^

  • same ^_^

  • II DID It in two sitting but still great

  • I the same.

  • I tried to, but since nobody seems to care about the MISSING END OF THE DOCCI I couldn't watch it all...

  • AHH!! Where's part 9?!?!

  • weaksauce

  • very insightful. i hope my upcoming xperience will be delightful
