It's ok man, they grew up! They will never forget those crazy days back in the early 90's. But I think they are in a better place now as a band and as people. I think it shows a lot of hope for people. If the band can over come their demons, then so can their fans. I love the evolution of this band, it gives me a lot of hope, that could just be me.

Everything Pearl Jam did until Riot Act was good, even if alot of people did'nt like Riot Act, it was still a good album........I think they kind of sold themselves after this album..............I guess if more people had bought this album then things would be different.

@scarletovergods I think its more to do with the way in which most bands are not destined to make a whole lot of great records.. one or two perhaps,. but at that point they got a whole bunch of fans etc so they keep on going just to keep the ball rolling. Korn is a great example - they should have stopped after their first or second album...

The other problem is getting rich and famous.. I think it was one of the beatles that said once they got rich they couldn't make good music no more...

@Bytheroast it's one of my favorites.. "Cropduster" amazing song by Matt Cameron, I like the odd time changes, they sound so natural you don't even notice them. And on "You Are" they ran the guitar through a drum machine to give it that crazy irregular sound, again Matt's idea

I like the less commercial albums that they made because there seems to be a lot more complex emotions and musical parts on them. I'm just a huge fan of Matt Cameron and Jack Irons. They allow the music to breathe so much. I know people go nuts over Abbruzzese but I thought all the little extra stuff he did on the hi hat was annoying. I dont want to make enemies I'm just giving my opinion.
