Also, the main issue with reusing your filter is not only are you more likely to suck up the impurities you filtered out of your previous hit, but you're at a greater risk of sucking up cotton fibers, which could lead to cotton fever. In general it's highly unsanitary, and finding a clean filter is not hard to do. q-tips, needle exchanges, cotton balls, gauze... there are a number of cheap and sanitary items available. Also when shooting with others keep your own workspace. If you LIVE with another shooter then get different rigs so you know whos is whos. The shit I've read peope banging puddle water. People using lemons to dissolve gear (FUGUS - in the WORSE CASE USE WHITE VINEGAR) but clean citric is best and use the least.

If banging gear and your batch seems different then don't reg (check in a vein/blood draw) and just shoot maybe do 1/2 x2 or 1/4x 4 just after shooting a little nudge

CONTINUED....... IME I do this 3-4 MAX after that I swap with new sharp needle or if it's 1ml/inshulin one I piggyback into a new one. Always shake out air. If you MUST REUSE NEEDLES then clean them out with hotwater (boiling) and then cool - people use alcohol/bleach. Try to stick to your arms and legs for injecting if you need to go elsewhere then you've a problem you should give it a break for awhile

From what I know using spoons, they contain silver oxide so should be avoided. Our exchanges have spoons with handles though so no finger burning. I heat with a candle. If you're going for a vein try and use them skinny/inshulin needles and not the syringes+needles as they are alot thicker and wear+tear more on your veins/leave bigger track. The upside is if you cant get a vein and move else where you blunt the needle a bit..........

I largely accept that addiction is a disease I was born with and that, even if I hadn't found all the drugs and above all heroin, I'd have still ended up an alcoholic. @wannaknowit "Kicking" is a specific term relating to when you actually stop taking heroin. It comes from the RLS which is one of the many symptoms of going without. Going on the script didn't work, so I went to rehab and got off whilst being given lofexidine and going through therapy and being introduced to NA. I certainly hope I can remain abstinent, because I'll die otherwise. I'm 21 and have spent 8 years either actively addicted to drugs, or fighting to stay off, with varying success.

@scottNcolcty thats a good question, you can, but its always better to just use a regular cotton ball (if all you have is a CLEAN cigarette filter then thats fine), try to use one without fiberglass in it, because some cigarettes (usually menthol cigs have fiberglass in them). Hope that helped =)
