Other than them both being anime-styled SRPG published by Atlus (Disgaea: Hour of Darkness was published by them) with anime openings (or well, the Luminous Arc series and Disgaea 2 and 3 do), they have pretty much nothing to do with each other as far as I know.

I'm sorry atlus did not make disgaea they only distributed the game to the U.S NIS made disgaea not them. Sorry to seem like an idiot for saying that. Well anyhow the AMV was alright. it's an awesome amv, but there wasn't much fitting Luminous Arc footage in there, although there is some awesome footage from the Luminous Arc game as well.
