If you guys need money to train prayer I recommend item hopping. I make like 6m an hour easy, because im In a good clan. The official one is at rs-merch.net. I wish prayer wasn't so damn expensive though lol.

ourge bones can possibly be used, because i did it without the marrentil bonus on guilded altar after a bandos trip, and got 360-380 xp. With marrentil its like 150% more, isnt it? :o

You use 1 marrentil on each burner to maximize your xp gain. It boosts the base xp when you use a bone on the altar.

Killing the dragons would take much longer. If you want quick xp just buy the bones. You can find faster ways to make money anyway.

by the way, it is possible to make the gilded altar at 66 construction. You need to make evil dave's stew that will raise your stats randomly from +1 to +6. after that make the tea, and use the crystal saw it will take you to 75. That's i got mine :)

Really can't say what price dragon bones will climb/fall to. The market is quite random sometimes but if a merch clan gets hold the them, they'll usually go up in price.

You need 75 construction to build a gilded altar.

Well, a recent update that allows people to use "x" bones on the altar has made dragon bones shoot up to 2.6k+ each and rising fast. It was around 90-95mil when I got it. It now costs 130m+ from around 70 :l

Yes there are other ways. There are many people that open their houses to others to use the gilded altar. You usually can find open altars if you search on the forums.

I opened mine many times on the way to 99 prayer.

You make an altar in your POH (Player owned house) in the chapel room. You can buy a house from any estate agent around Runescape.

Uhm, for me some of the best ways to make money are: Barrows, picking mort myre fungus, slayer (spiritual mages, abby demons, dark beasts), woodcutting, fishing, to name a few. I don't have a guide for these...I'm sure there are some somewhere around youtube.

With oak altars, when no burners are lit, you get no extra xp. Only when 1 burner (150% increase) or 2 burners (200% increase) are lit do you get extra xp.

And the summoning familiars store bones in their inventory. It saves many trips and teleport tablets in the long run.

Ehh, easiest way to get dragon bones isn't really to kill dragons...there are quicker ways to make money and just buy the bones.. There isn't an easy way to get them unfortunately. If you want to kill dragons though, kill greens since they're the lowest level.

From level 64-99, calculating in the amount of bones needed from 64 and the current cost of dragon bones, you will need 50,109 dragon bones and 95,908,626 gp (current price of dragon bones are 1914 ea).

You only get the 350% increase in xp when the gilded burners are lit..to light the gilded burners you need 1 marrentill for each burner and a tinderbox in your inventory. If you have a lower level altar, or lower level burners, you will not get the same amount of xp.
