i am so in love with your doberman. i wish so badly i could have one, they are the dog of my dreams... but my parents won't let me because of their reputation. jesus, if they knew how gentle, devoted, intelligent and elegant creatures they truly are. they sincerely have stolen my heart. when i live on my own, i hope i can get mine, finally.
back when I was 19 my parents felt the same way. Once I got my first Doberman she changed their mind. They are sooo easy to train. All dogs have teeth. All dogs can bite. Doberman's are actually below many other popular breeds such as German Shepherds and Huskies as far as biting goes. The Doberman of today as a different dog that the doberman of the 1970's that was breed to be more aggressive. Good luck :-) :-)

Thank you! Is this your first Dobe? They are different from other dogs in the INTENSITY of their love. They need to know where you are at all times. Don't be afraid to socialize your Dobe with all types of people (in wheelchairs, crutches, kids on bikes, the mailman, etc) It won't make him any less protective of you because they are so darned smart, they will know when they need to protect you. Have fun! Wish my Kilroy was still a baby....

you have an awesome dog - I have a dobe too - well, we have to call her a cross since shes a rescue dog and we dont know her lineage, but she is definately dobe - she still has her tail and drop ears since its illegal to dock and stand her ears in Scotland - the funny thing is, my dobe is jealous of my sisters baby bearded dragons, she's such a little girl!!

I think I would have preferred for my dog to have his ears and tail remain. They look sweeter with the ears especially. Bearded dragons are pretty cute! (except when they eat....yuck!)
No they don't! I only pay an extra fee to be able to get more storage space and to be able to use certain fonts, but it isn't needed. You can also download a copy and if your computer has a DVD burner you can burn a copy yourself.
I think my card gets charged an extra 2.50 a month (I should know this shouldn't I?!) but really I don't think you need to pay a thing. Once you finish your video, download the high-quality file (takes about a half an hour) and then if you have DVD burning software you can make your own DVD! I find the OneTrue Media site easier to use than iMovie orother slide show software.

Kilroy is the red, and "Eve" , the fawn, was our rescue (she is the one who had on the reindeer ears) Sadly she is deceased. The one lying on the ground is another rescue, a Dane named Xena. The grey/white cat is also a rescue (saved from an abandoned apartment with 42 other cats)
