Muhammed (saw) did get married to Aisha (ra) at that age but they never even had sex at all with each other. He treated her like his daughter and their marriage was nothing to do with Islam, parents would do that to their daughters for safety. Secondly Muhammed (saw) never believed in hurting the disbeliefs or any innocent for that fact he feel sorry for them.
