Very nice, this sounds really great! I'm impressed by your singing.
I actually built these same two preamps for the recording project that we're working on now, called "Guerrillagator". If anyone wants to hear more examples of these pres they can look at our youtube page, we used the N72 on vocals and the A12 on acoustic and electric guitars.
Thanks for the kind comments. There is no DI signal, just from the mics. As for the N72, I've really enjoyed it. It provides a slightly more mellow tone than the API clone, I think it works particularly well with a large diaphragm condenser. No technical issues so far, though they didn't like being in a non air conditioned situation once... But the technical support on the forums by the company was very helptul.
were you just using the mic signals for this clip or was there also a DI signal? I am thinking of getting the N72 set for my preamp project. what are your thoughts since putting the preamps together and using them? i'd love to hear your reviews on them based on your experience.
Beautiful job, my friend! You definitely dove into some magic there with that performance. My only question is why you didn't mic up the guitar in stereo with a stereo set of Oktava's instead of just one? But man, sounds fantastic!

what was the setup? Which Mic pre for the microphones and such?
Either way, thanks for uploading this, I've been looking for a good example of the seventh circle audio products, and your demo is by far the best!

I'm thinking about buying some of the preamp kits from SCA -- are you happy with them? Any revised feelings about them since you got them?
Thanks!

AWESOME Nickjbarr ...bravo...nice camera, nice play, nice sound...........this one of the best reverbs i have ever heard...is it a lexicon unit?
maybe little less reverb on vocal and less gain to the guitar ,could make the video sound more balanced.....

Great sound and good variation on the camera angles. What sort of camera did you use?
And I wonder, what's the box atop your Seventh Circle Audio N72 and interface?
Thanks for posting this. It's helpful for getting an idea of how to set up home recording, and the performance is solid.

Very cool song. I'm on the fence between getting the lunchbox APIs or the SCA version.
Have you had the oppoprtunity to compare the 2?
I'll check out your other songs now...
