Hello, I have a question about Sony Vegas pro 9.0. When u go into Pan/crop im havign troubles getting my clip without black boxes on the side of the videos if i crop it so it its just the clip with no black boxes on the sides, the height shrinks down blocking text at the top and bottom. how can i make ti so it shows everything on the clip without black boxes on the side. Like yours is how i want it.

By holding down the shift key, you can drag only one side of the box. This way you can move the box around the exact parts you want to crop out.

Do you use Pinnacle for recording the actual footage? Just want to make sure, because everytime I use it, the sound ususally gets out of sync...know how to fix that?

@SilentDarkKill well when you take it into Sonyvegas on your clip Press Ctrl U then drag the audio drag it a level below then mess around with it untill it's right.

hey man, I am trying to upload a vid to youtube - with pinnacle 14HD ultimate - I render it as DivX HD and it looks great on my computer - but when I upload it to youtube it looks awful! Any ideas????

@cheddar755 the higher the quality settings you use the more space it takes up on your hard drive. it happens to everyone i suggest just starting the upload and walking away. once you upload the video delete all of your captured footage and your video from your hard drive to save space for your next videos.

In the end having sharpness up doesnt change anything.

You can put it up a little but too much will make it look like crap. lol..

yo how do you import files to sony vegas ? do you have to save them as a movie first on pinnacle 14 ? cause i dont know how to do it, i have my unfinished montage saved in RECORDINGS, but when i go to sony vegas i look for it in RECORDINGS and its not there ? any help ?

First of all, dont do anything with Pinnacle except hit that record button.

Then, find the clip you want to edit.

Open Vegas Pro.

Drag the file you want to edit and put it in the bottom area.

You should be able to edit it from there on.
