  • If I use a longer length, will affect the flow of the fan veils? I want to use these for burlesque routines, so it might need to be a little longer.

  • @AMAUZUME

You can definetely go with longer silk. The average fanveil is much longer than the ones we use. They are that length just because we are doing tribal with them.

  • Great job on fan veils and dance. You made it seem so easy. So why do people charge between $50 and $140.00 for them? I'd rather make my own for those prices. Thank you.

  • yours work is amazing. and your dance music is perfect. could u say what is the group?

  • @SantaPuh

  • @BellyTreeDancer

  • May i ask? What is the fabric you used on this? I am confused. Thank you :)

  • No, we don't hem the silk

  • Hi I liked your tutorial is great, a question, you hemming silk? As you can avoid not waste silk thread? I would appreciate information =)

  • absolutedly loved loved loved both tutorials, you guys are so cool!!! I was wondering if guys can make a tutorial on how to use the fan veils, some basic techniques and stuff like that. And by the way, I liked your nail polish jijiji

  • Great tutorial! I was wondering: how can I keep the ends of my fan veils from fraying? I bought a pair and the raw ends are starting to fray. I'm afraid that sewing or gluing them will weigh them down and change how they float. Any advice? :)

  • @He1iconia

I just trim the strings as they happen.

  • @He1iconia

Totally forgot to mention, We use the width of the fabric so the selvage edge is at the end of the fan. We get a minimal amount of fraying.

  • hi RST, I enjoyed your how-to videos & your dancing! Very nicely done :)
