The Gasoline and diesel both sells for around $1 per litre which is a benefit of $0.3731 today, that is more than 50% profit.
An increase in crude oil prices would affect this margin (which will add up to billions considering the consumption rates).

@Weasler455 And sorry I made a mistake with my figures for oil prices. The crude oil barrel (158.987295 Litres) costs $99.67 today. This means 1 Litre of Crude Oil is worth $ 0.6269 today. The Gasoline and diesel both sells for around $1 per litre which is a benefit of $0.3731 today, that is more than 50% profit.
An increase in crude oil prices would affect this margin (which will add up to billions considering the consumption rates).
