here is how i would do it. 1 Block off the dispencers on the pathway. 2 make a path way all the way around it. 3 start digging inwards. 4 if finding a spawner get rid of it 5 try to find another one. 6 add the blocks bettween the spawners. 7 if one side works the other 3 sides work. 8 add in the possibility of more then one level. 9 by using this math you can find the Spawners and take them out! 10 ghast spawners are rare. one of every four Creepers spawners

Here's my suggestion. Maybe you should attempt that cannon thing and try to blow up the spaw- crap, I just thought of a flaw. You could accidently blow up the chest. If somone knew where the chest was, they could say if it was safe or not.

@TheNewestNobleMember No, he uses MC Edit, I asked if he'd ever used VoxelSniper as well, but he said that no he didn't, but MC Edit now incorporates VoxelSniper's best tools. Super Hostile 8 is gunna be awesome, as even Legendary wasn't done using the VoxelSniper stuff. :D

@Sourmanb Actually, all pick types destroy monster spawners equally well. Wood, stone, iron, gold, and diamond all take 7.5 seconds to destroy them. The quickest way to destroy monster spawners is by using TNT, but that can become very messy if you don't do it right.

I've seen that spawners survive TNT blasts 50% of the time even if one of the corners are touching the TNT and nothing but air separating them.

about the gold tools, if you haven't already discovered it, the ones that are in your house when you find it are edited so they last forever, gold works faster than diamond.

The gold armor you find also has multiple times the normal durability,
