Hi everyone: Saw her in 1980 in Des Moines Iowa, and in 1985 in Dallas Tx. Shes dosent stand very tall. (shes like 5 ft. nothing) But this lady has a set of pipes. She can sing taller than her physical height.. As far as female artists go, she has cemented her place in the history of music. Along with Stevie Nicks (whom I've also seen)
I saw her in Charleston, SC back in '89 or so...been a few years...looks like she's just doing nastalgia shows now...and even in 89, her genre was fading...she set a precedent for some female artists as ROCKERS, even though there were others that preceeded her...she made her place,a nd set herself up..good for her.
so sexy! i was there. i am opposed to the reference of the bbq. although there was about 20,000 people in there. great night. my friend anne and i had a blast that night. the show was over 2 and 1/2 hours as it was the 20th anniversary. she played rare songs. i heard wuthering heights live for the first time that night. a fav of anne's.
What!!!...is she doing birthdays and weddings now? Well here in The Netherlands we have a special place for her in our hearts so she can always take residents here.....at my place. Just joking.....way to go Pat.
Oh, yes sure...well, maybe not among the youth of today Rachel but she had a few big hits here in Holland. The Battlefield song must have been the greatest. Me myself bought the Precious Time album on Aruba in 1981 and has been a great influence on my guitar playing. Good stuff. Ever been to Holland?
keep in mind that is a mono mic in the crowd with all the associaetd ambience and people that decide that a concert by one of the top 3 female singers alive is the perfect place to have a roundtable discussion on the penepelician war thaen a few years from now they will wonder whymusic sucks now ASSHOLES!!!!!
Why one would allow such a thing is beyond me. I also find it irritating that the drummer doesn't mimick Myron on this tune. The drumming is 1/3 the personality of this tune.
I don't think this is actually 1998 because I have a 1998 performance from San Francisco Fillmore and she looks way different. Wasn't this 2000 or 2001? I could of course be wrong. She does change her looks quite often.
I've never seen this one. I love Precious Time from the early years. Great to see it in a kind of recent show. Still has that great guitar sound and Pat's one of a kind vocals. "The doctors on vacation so you took the medication."

neil was in a class all his own. the guy was never over the top, always tastefull.
LPcustom76 3 years ago
Absolutely. One of the more tasteful guitarists of our time. His solos seemed to always fit the song, ie....Precious Time.
Perfect!

I was about to post a reply to LPcustom, but you already summed it up perfectly. Couldn't agree more!

Sound sucks ass. Drummer is NOT Myron......so that also sucks. Neil and Pat are always amazing, but overall the sound quality pretty much blows.

LOL...That's funny but true what "FIRE says...Just struck me funny...
